providing envelopes

I give envelopes at every workshop, and I encourage everyone to
decorate the envelope to match the card. It used to frustrate me
to be a customer and to not receive the appropriately sized envelope.
While I love the quality of the SU envelopes, I give out cheaper
envelopes from Staples because I buy so many.

My demo always provides the envelopes for Stamp a Stack or Stamp Camps. Even though I have tons of my own envelopes at home, I prefer using hers as I can then use her stamp set that matches the card to decorate the envelope. Chances are excellent I don't own the same set she is demo'ing so I couldn't stamp my own at home.

Consider it really nice perk both for me and the person I send the card to!

I am not a demo, but I do have a stamp club that meets in my home once a month. (My daughter is a demo.) For our card swaps we used to provide the envelope. Now we don't unless we want to decorate it to match the card. But a demonstrator could also show the envelope templates and how nice they can look. I made some once using wall paper from a discontinued book. They are really nice looking. And free. I like the price. haha

those are all good points. It would be fun to stamp the envelopes. Maybe I will point that out at the craft night.....

I've never gotten an envelope when attending a workshop as a guest or customer. I am a demo now and do not give them out at regular workshops. I did give them out once because we used glitter on the card and I provided it as a courtesy to keep the glitter from getting all over the place as people went home. I will always provide SU envelopes at an event. If I were to do a class or a stamp a stack I would probably give the envelopes with the project but not usually at a workshop.
