Thank you so much, Jen, for stepping up to the plate and filling in. I've had quite a trip.
First I flew to Illinois to get my husband's grandmother's car. She about to turn 90 and can't drive any longer and wanted to give her car to me. It's a '94 Olds with 16400 miles on it when I picked it up. I stayed a couple of days before heading out. (That's when Aunt Betty taught me how to make the candy in the box in my gallery.
)
Then, instead of coming back to Delaware, I went south to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to see my family. My mother has diabetes and other health problems. Though they all came through the Katrina OK (other than a second home on the bayou being completely destroyed and washed away). But after the storm, my mother got sick and had to be hospitalized. She's doing much better now. I stayed there for almost a week and came home last Friday.
After I got home, it took me a while to want to do anything again. I was seriously wondering about stamping and if I should start selling my retired sets and decide which of my current sets to sell when I dropped my demonstratorship. But after resting and recouperating, and spending a little time with my sisters on SCS, I'm ready to get started again.
I will post the Artist Trading Card Challenge 8 in just a few minutes. I'm cheating a little this week.
If anyone would like to volunteer to post ATC challnges in the future, please let me know. Any offers are welcome.
Thanks again, Jen, for your help. I'm looking forward to seeing all the new ATCs.
