Michaels return policy?

I bought a punch at Michaels, opened the package carefully and then found I didn't like the punch. But now I can't find the receipt. Does anyone know, is there any chance I can return it without a receipt?

They will usually give you store credit without a receipt.

I work at a Michaels, and my store would take it back without a receipt and give you a store credit, good at any michaels and never expires.

I did the same thing you did...I had my receipt though...I called them and they said no questions asked if you have receipt and if you don't you have to prove that the punch came from Michaels...thank goodness I had my receipt because the packaging didn't have anywhere on it that said Michaels and It was a common punch that you can get anywhere...So I would say just call them and ask
