SU ink pads need help!

We moved and our stuff was stored in a moving trailer for 11 months while we were waiting for our house to sell and then find a new one. It endured temps of +90F and -30F. Now I am finally unpacking my stamp stuff and all was well until I got to the ink pads, I am reinking them and cannot get the pads to have the smooth surface again, the cheap ones from Joann's are fine, stazon fine, versamark fine, craft pads fine, but the larger waterbased the SU ones are wavy and it has been 3 days since I inked them. The ink pads were not completely dry, I could get a ok image off of them before I inked them it just took forever to ink a stamp as I had to find the even spots on the pad. Help me please!

How did your stamps survive those temps? I would check them too. I imagine if you had a lot of damage your insurance might cover replacement cost. The phone number for SU is 1-800-stampup - I'm not sure if they would have any ideas for you, but it couldn't hurt to call.

Isn't there some kind of a warning about extreme temperatures? I know that that is of no help now. I agree with checking on insurance.

I'd be curious to know about this as well.
