Default The popular pear!

Pears seem to be a popular image. I was wondering if there is any significance to the pear? - e.g. pineapples represent hospitality. Or are they just a good subject for coloring, shading, etc.? Curious stamper wants to know...

I love pears! We are getting ready to move into our new house next month, and my master bathroom will be pears...purple and silver.

I believe the meaning of the pear is the human heart, representing life. It also looks curiously similar to a womb, which would represent the same.

I am also curious as to what other stampers think...
