Default Please help!! Need idea for altoid tin!!

We are having a bridal shower for my future SIL. I have the tins and now I can't come up with a idea. I am using these for favors. Any suggestions? I have looked at the gallery and just can't come up with an idea. I think the Little Hellos wedding cake is cute, but it's too small and I need ideas for what to use with it. I am a perfectionist and I want these to be very special. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks
Stacie

Are you looking for ideas on what to put IN it or ON it?

I would think it myight be cute to use just a floral motif... make it match her colors... Or it might me neat to monogram one for each guest. Maybe one of the designer papers might match her colors and help get you started with a color theme.

As far as what to put IN it... candy, sewing kit, emergency purse items, notes and mini pen.....

Have fun!

The little hello's wedding cake is adorable, and even though it is a small stamp, you can start with a background paper that may be the same color as the bride's theme, and just start to make a few layers to matt the cake stamp. Maybe a couple primas, tie with an organza ribbon in contrasting theme colors, and it would be a very pretty top. Go to the gallery and do a search for "little hello wedding". There are quite a few cute card ideas that can be adapted to a cover of an altoid tin.

I'm not sure if you are looking for ideas as to what to put into the tins, but think M&M's in the bride's theme colors would be well received. I'm thinking that doing any sort of mini album insert may be a major undertaking if you have a hundred or more tins to fill. Everyone loves candy though!

I made altoid tins, and cut the paper the size of the lid that is inside the gold border. Then you can layer whatever you like. I used the xyron with adhesive/laminate, which gave it a finished look. I put ribbon around the side with double stick tape. Inside, I put a pencil, a small notebook made from the small post-it notes, and a small sewing kit. They came out nicely, and everyone liked them. Candy is a good idea. Eileen
