Talking Please help me find stamping conventions in Canada in 2006

I'm hoping to visit Canada in 2006 and I'd like to go to a stamping convention or stamp camp during this one week trip. Which events would you advise me to attend?? Thanks in advance.

I haven't decided yet - I want to plan my trip around a convention, so, I guess it will be one of the major cities.

Well this year SU had Regionals in Calgary, Alberta and Toronto, Ontario. I know in previous years they have had them in Edmonton, Alberta and in Vancouver, BC. Honestly, we don't know when they're going to announce the new ones yet. They announced this past year's in July when the new catalogue came out.

Keep asking though--and we'll let you know when we hear anything!

By the way, you can't buy products at Regionals. You get a free stamp set, and some samples, and you can win product as door prizes, but you can't buy anything. I would suggest that if you know what you want to get, find a Canadian demo in the city you're going to be in/close to and give her an order on your credit card about 2 weeks before your trip. Pick it up from her when you are here! That'll save you the extra shipping costs to get it to the UK! If you decide on Alberta, I'd be more than happy to do that for you! (In Alberta there is no Provincial sales tax--all the other provinces have one.)

HTH!
