A recipient of a care package I sent to the troops wrote me a very nice thank you note and mentioned how much she liked the blank cards I included. I want to surprise her with a box of just cards for her and her unit's use. But I can't make them fast enough to fill the box to get it off to her any time soon.
If you'd like to help with a card, please pm me for my address. I'd appreciate the help. Thanks.
I have some for different occasions. Some birthday, thank you, get well, holidays, etc. Are you interested? If so, send me a pm with your address and I will send them out.
I really don't have a deadline. Once this box is filled; I'm going to start another one. I regularly send out care packages to the troops thru anysoldier.com and always include blank cards in them.
Yes, I will send the cards sent in for my Autism card contest. Plus some others I have just sitting in a basket waiting for some love!! LOL Thanks for doing this.

I live in Durham! I would love to help ya, I always have lots of extra cards made up. What part of Raleigh are you in? I live in South Durham very close to RTP.
Diane,
I just sent some cards to you yesterday. I take macro photos of flowers and mount them. Not a lot of stamping but I hope you like them. They are also in individual cello bags so they don't get dirty.
Thank you for sending them out. Do you need money for postage?
Surflola - I received your cards today. That's the fastest I've ever gotten anything from NY to NC. The cards are beautiful. I'm sure the soldiers will appreciate the colors. I don't know how many in the unit. I send the boxes to different units.
I got your address and will send you some. Do you have an address where other stampers can get together and make some and send their own. Some of my SU friends mentioned doing this. I could pass it along.
I will send some as soon as I go through my retired set card fronts. I will make them into full cards. Do you need envelopes to go with the cards?
Diane
Ladies,
I received a couple of boxes of handmade cards during my two-year stint in the Middle East. I had NO IDEA where they came from. I tried to send thank you emails to all those that had email addresses on the backs of the cards, but some did not. I just wanted to THANK YOU for these on behalf of my fellow Soldiers. It was actually these cards that got me into stamping in the first place. You do BEAUTIFUL work, and they are TRULY appreciated!!!!!!!!!
That being said - I have one request of you... please do NOT think you need to send cards that are military-oriented. We get enough of that and like the escape "normal" cards offer. THANK YOU AGAIN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!!!!!!!!!

JudyW: I plan to send cards indefinitely; I really enjoy doing it. So if you want to help, you can mail a card (envelopes are appreciated, but not necessary) to:

I sorted through my cards to see what I could send. I counted out 55 cards! How big is a unit? I couldn't believe that I had so many "extras" sitting around. I will put them in the mail on Monday, if I can get my kids out of the house. My kids are in summer mode, running around with their friends and they don't want to stop to run errands. If I promise them fast food, I can lure them into the car. BwaHaaHaa!
