HELP!! Please help with Everyday Flexible Phrases Set???
Hi,
I'm trying to coordinate the stamps to go with each other. I have some ideas like daughter/son, celebrate/fun, spring/fall, Chrismas/Joy, etc.
When I got toward the end I had these words left over and put them together like this &/wish, thanks/for, */winter, {/and. I just don't care for the way they are. Could you ladies please supply me a list of what words you put on what blocks??? I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to mount them until I get them right!! I'm anal like that!! LOL!!
First, before you do anything else, scan or make at least 2 copies of the sticker sheet. No, really, go do that.
Now, you'll notice that one set of words is longer than the other (generally speaking). The long words need to go on the top of the blocks, the short words go on the ends (I think up to 5 letters will fit). This becomes very important...
Next, I'd suggest that you write on one of your copies a word from the short list below the word on the long list you think it goes with best. Cross it off the short list. If you use pencil, you can erase as needed.
Once you're happy with the matchings, start mounting. Keep in mind that this is a set of 56 (!!!) so it may take a while, but the cuts are all straight, so it's more monotonous than difficult.
On your other copy, write in pen the words that are on the same blocks. Fold the paper and put it in the box with your stamps.
Here are the words I paired together (choose ones that make sense to you...):
(from the short list)
all-together
and-&
baby-mother
best-friend
boy-brother
day-Christmas
for-family
fun-birthday
girl-sister
good-father
happy-Halloween
laugh-. . .
little-wish
your-{
just-thanks
son-daughter
stamp-special
dream-imagine
fall-*
sweet-summer
joy-!
I can't help you much. I just mounted them as they were on the sheet. I know that doesn't make much sense, but it was easer for me. It would have taken me weeks to work out a way to mount that set because of the 'big-little' issue.
Good luck! I hope you mount it just the way you want it!!
Actually I haven't got them yet. DH bought me alot of sets for X-mas and this was one of them!! He won't even let me see any of them It really stinks!! Oh well X-mas is almost here!!!! Maybe when I see how they have them listed on the sheet in the set I will be able to figure it out better. I'm trying to do it out of the catty. If that makes sense. Talk you all soon!!
Hi! I'm pretty anal, too, and the way I arranged them was by long words on top- short words on the side. Then I alphabetized both lists and matched them up that way. I typed up a list showing what 2 stamps go together, and keep that in the case. The stamps are kept alphabetically in the case. It works for me- I also like your idea of having 2 similar words together.

I'm getting this set free with my starter kit and I never even thought about how to mount them! What a great thread! I will definately keep everything in mind and pull this out when I mount them in about 2 weeks!
