Default DCWV Box of Cards

Does anyone use these to make their cards?

I purchase the ones that are colored and patterend when they are on clearance...then I just stamp a sentiment on the front and send them to the soldiers to use. It is a quick easy way to get cards in the box to send to the troops.

I buy the 5 1/2 inch square ones...they actually come in a package (10 ct., I think) not a box. They come in black and white (sold seperately), with a coupon I think they are about $3.00. It saves me having to use 12 x 12 cardstock and I love that they are precut AND you get the envelopes too! Great deal!

I bought a box and was disappointed in the weight of the cards. So I have ended up cutting them in half at the fold and using each half as a layer on a heavier weight base.

I have...the patterned ones. They're great when making quick sets of notecards. With my coupon, I figured once it cost all of $.14 for each card/envelope set, including tax. Can't beat that! The only thing I wasn't too happy with was the textured solid cards. I ran them through my Cuttlebug and they didn't hold up very well...the paper is pretty thin. The white core showed through, whether I wanted that look or not!

Personally I love these cards. Have embossed ones that are square. I agree with prev poster in the fact that they make really quick cards and that don't cost me an arm and a leg. I did get some of the lighter weight standard card size ones on clearance. If they are to light I just cut down a little and put a back layer on them. When some cards have so many layers they way a ton. Sometimes it's nice to have a light card. One of my co-workers is a Wizard of Oz nut so I used these and put Wizard of Oz cartoons that I printed and colored on the front and sassy sayings to match on inside. Now she has a stash of cards she loves to send out to family and friends. And again was an inexpensive gift for me to give. Approximately 8 cents a card. Woo Hoo.
