Thank you Kazeka! I really enjoyed coloring it! Coloring is actually one thing I enjoy! I can do it sitting still, and so it doesn't aggrevate my dizzy problems as much as other things I enjoy. I like to color the images with markers, and then do shading with colored pencils. Thanks for sharing the stamp with me!

Chris, I love that Christmas card. The little tag and layers are awesome. Your coloring is beautiful. Did you use markers or watercolor pencils? Great job.

Thank you Arlene! I used alcohol markers (not Copics), and then I shaded the images with coloring pencils. That is one my favorite ways to color. I cut the tag from a Project Life card, and I used Project Life cards for backgrounds too. I love using my stash!!!
Thank you for your kind compliment!

I haven't had a chance to mail everyone's PIFs yet. I hope to get to it in the mail in the next day or two. I have a lot to do with hubby. I purchased a recumbent bike; tried to get one that wasn't expensive. Been having problems with syncope; blood leaving my head and making me feel like I am going to faint. Thankfully, I haven't fainted, thanks to the meds I take, but it is debilitating. So hoping riding on the bike will strengthen my calves and legs and help push the blood back up. Can't use a regular bike, due to arthritis in my tail bone. Good grief; I sound like I'm two hundred years old! lol...So crossing fingers and toes and praying that the bike will be a good one,and that we won't have any trouble putting it together.
Hope everyone is having a great Monday! It is a HOT one here. Pretty and sunny though!

Stamp and Weave, I was sure I had thanked you for the stamp PIF in this thread but I don't see it. I must have intended to do so, and then got distracted. I replied to your PM but wanted to also make sure you see this in case the PM doesn't go through. I've been sick for about a month, so time just turned into one big amorphous blob so I hope I'm up to date now. Your PIF came at such a great time and I can't wait to ink those stamps up. The one with the pups will be turned into a few Christmas cards right away, for my dog loving friends and family.
Thank you so much. Hope your week ahead is a great one.

Hi Arlene,
I got the cupcake stamp yesterday and had better thank you right now before that too slips my mind! Blame the change in the weather, or turning 70 this year, but my mind is like a sieve lately. Thank you so much for your generous PIF. I love the detail on the cupcake image that will make it so easy to color without worrying too much about shading.
Have a great week.

I am glad they got there. Some of the PIFs arrived quite a while after the PO said they would so I was concerned some of them might not have arrived at all.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well! Hope you get better soon!

Exercise bike didn't work out. It was defective. I was so ticked after going to all the work to unwrap it and put it together. Had pieces that didn't fit together right, the pedals were hard to turn, even on low, and the monitor didn't work. I didn't really care about the monitor, but the other things were unable to be fixed. Even one of the batteries was defective, had a piece that was off of it. Thankfully, it can be returned. But I wasted the entire day on it, and going to take a tylenol, because I know my back will be hurting if I don't. Oh well, I know there are worse things. At least, I am getting my money back on it.
At least I felt well enough to get the house vaccumed and mopped early today.
I'll try to get your PIFs out later this week.

Oh What a bummer about the bike - glad you could return it though!
I bought a stationary bike from Amazon, while there were a couple cheaper, they had like a 20% restocking fee if you returned, so the little more money was worth the peace of mind to be able to return it...which thankfully I did not need to .

I have a few more things to offer. Mailing only in US.

The first one is a cute little stamp (Dog with antlers) that I received as a PIF from hoptownracer1 (Chris) last year. I made several cards using it last Christmas. I decided to pass it on. Has been claimed

The second item is a set of Sizzix dies. Has been claimed

To request, please PM me with your name and address.

Thanks Leigh Anne! I was so relieved when the UPS guy picked it up! I just imagined all these things happening that would prevent it, lol.... I am fortunate that there was no restocking fee; although, with it being defective, I don't think I should have to pay anything like that anyway, but I know these places have their rules.
I finally got everyone's PIFs ready; sorry it took me so long!

I'm so sorry that bike didn't work out for you Chris. How frustrating to put it all together and then have it be defective. Glad you are able to return it though, and I'm sure you were glad to see the last of that one!

How do you all use the "strip" embossing folders? They intrigue me, but I am not sure how they are best used. My mind thinks of envelopes and then stops there.

For that matter, how do you use the mini embossing folders?

Thanks!

I usually emboss a strip of card stock with the strip embossing folders, and then cut it out and use as a border. You can also ink the folder before embossing, for a whole new look. Here are a couple of simple Christmas cards that I made with a strip embossing folder. Probably have a lot more, but these were just the ones I found right away. It took me a while to actually figure out how to use that type of embossing folder but now I love them.

As for the mini embossing folders, I like to use them on card stock with a white core. Then you can lightly sand the embossed design to make it stand out. I often cut the embossed image into a square, mat it and use as a focal point on a card. Or you can use several of them across the front etc.

Thank you! The folders added a nice touch to the card. Pretty! Thanks, too, for the info on the mini folders.

Oh wow! Those border ones are really neat! Thanks Arlene for sharing examples of them! I have a few, and I am going to have to drag them out and use them more!!! Those were great examples; so pretty!
Karen, Your cards are beautiful! Really stunning! Love them! So glad that you shared them!!! Great idea about using them with white cored paper!
That is one thing I love about this site. I have a limited imagination sometimes, and can't visualize things, and it helps so much when you all share your knowledge! I learn new things here all the time!

Thanks, Karen for sharing your cards. They are so pretty. Thank you for answering the questions about the EF borders and minis. I did not see her question about the minis. I was trying to give her some ideas, answer PMs and update my posting. I don't multi-task as well as I use to. I guess age does that to a person.

I have two items for PIF. I can only mail in the U.S.. Two of these are former PIFs. I have stamped out several to use, so I am ready to share them now.
Sugarplums Winter Trevor (was PIF from Kazeka Karen) Donated to Animal Resuce Yard Sale
Heffy Doodle Teacher's Pet (was PIF from A Scrap of Kindness-Lercy) SPOKEN FOR
Pay It Forward 2022...-img_4521.jpg
Note-I removed one of the stamp sets I had posted earlier (a set that had been mine) as I discovered that they are not sticking like they are supposed to. Terrible quality. But the other two sets are still available.

I have some Stampin' Up Pillar box die cuts that I would like to offer. These were back 2003-2007ish - before they had the Big Shot, embossing folders and dies. These have been punched out and they came scored as to where to fold (they were on 12x12 sheets and sold 6 per package, I think.) I have attached a couple of links showing what they look like put together and decorated. I have 12 boxes in this bundle and they are these colors: pink, blue, green, yellow, craft and confetti white. There are also tags and other little embellishment that were also die cut on each box page that I have included. I would recommend using a strong, sticky tape to hold them together - like red line tape or any other that is used for 3D projects. PM me.

Note-I removed one of the stamp sets I had posted earlier (a set that had been mine) as I discovered that they are not sticking like they are supposed to. Terrible quality. But the other two sets are still available.

Heart

I went ahead and put the Trevor stamp set in the donation for the local Animal Rescue Yard Sale that we have here. This Spring they raised $11,000 for the rescue. They save a lot of animals here and are a great cause.
I'll try to share something after I get a chance to catch up on some house work. Hope everyone is having a blessed and happy weekend!
