Default Question adhering chipboard pieces.

If I want to adhere two circles of chipboard together with a length of grossgrain inbetween them, what is the best way to get it to 'hold'. The circles are small-ish - about 3/4" in diameter and the ribbon is 3/8" wide....

I used the white Tombow Mono Multi liquid adhesive but it did not HOLD - They stay together and are tacky, but they are slipping a bit if much pressure is put on them. Any other ideas on what to use or how to get a good strong permanent hold?

I'm wondering if the TMM hasn't completely dried yet, or perhaps you used too much? I've used it on all types of surfaces and it's never failed to create a permanent bond a nuclear blast couldn't break.

I don't think I used too much, however, I think that because there was some adhesive already on the back of the chip pieces, it didn't 'take' as well as it should have. I didn't think about that when I put the glue on. I probably should have removed as much as possible of the original sticky and then started over...darn. I will try Fabri-tac and E6000 next.

thanks.

I've found the same thing when I've tried to add Mono Multi to a surface that already has some adhesive on it! I suspect there are a lot of adhesives that don't "play well with others". Let us know what works, OK?

Maybe glue dots would work?
