Question Paperbag Scrapbook ?

I love the idea if using paperbags for a scrapbook, but are they safe for our photos? I was thinking of doing this as a Girl Scout project. TIA!

They are safe if you use buffered and acid/lingen free paper or cardstock. SU paper is buffered and a/l free..

I doubt if paper bags are buffered and acid/lingen free though. This might be a cute project that is not intended to last forever, but will last for quite a long time!!

If the photos are placed on buffered cardstock they will not yellow. Since the paper bags are not acid free. What will most likely happen is that the glue will disintegrate from the acid in the bags or the paper bags would disintegrate themselves first. The acid will not go to the pictures because the buffered cardstock protects them. I would not imagine this happening for some time. If you are wanting the recipient to use this as an heirloom, get an album.
