WOW! Nichole outdid herself today. The two new projects are amazing. I love the coffee bag, and especially love the nugget tin!
And the idea to stamp address labels to make nugget covers. That's just SUCH a good idea. Somehow, I'd managed to never see that before. Or else never realized I did. I always thought people made slip covers with paper!
Oh man......I think I'm in trouble! After resisting the borders and corners release, I think I'm going to have to get at least one of these new sets. Maybe both ;)
If you go to papertreyink.com, then scroll to the bottom, you will get a link to the blog, which is very informative.
I had decided to cut down on my spending on stamping supplies, right after the new sets come out. Eileen

It took me a long time to become a Papertrey fan, but I am so hooked it is ridiculous. I think it is her blog....her project ideas are so clever, you want the stuff she is using to make that project. I think Nicole is going to take the stamping world by storm (if she hasn't already), just with her tins, bags, flowers, stamps, etc. A complete store, not just stamps. And of course, she makes almost everything 'fit' and 'coorindate'. (like the Avery address labels)

I have seen the idea to use labels before, but what a clever idea to make a stamp fit inside the label and leave a tiny white border all around. You probably need a steady hand but it looks so nice.
Nichole and her Papertrey Ink line keep getting better and better every month. She is truly a marketing genious. She obviously knows her market VERY well and looks at the big picture without missing all the little details. She knows what we all use and takes them to a new level. For example, the nuggest stamp, then offers the packaging to go with it! Smart, smart girl!!! I KNOW I'm in trouble with this month's releases!
I am so in love with PaperTrey...that I get up at 5AM just so I can be up for the midnight unveiling!!! Well, and now that she has announced her intentions of starting a little party here on Splitcoast for an hour before the unveiling, I guess I'll have to get up at 4AM. :-) I just don't want to miss out on any of the PaperTrey fun...and I definitely want to be one of the first to place an order for all this good stuff.
For those who aren't aware, PaperTrey is adding tins in various sizes, bags in sizes and material (kraft, white, window, and a sheer like bag), PRIMAS (oooooh, primas!!!), two new stamp sets (one floral and one halloween), and cool other stuff as well. I don't even want to THINK about how much money I'll be dropping Wednesday morning! :-)
And be here at 11PM in the general forum for a chat with Nichole herself, and all us PaperTrey stalkers!!! :-)

I just love that these are the first acrylic stamps that actually STAMP correctly with SU! Classic inks! I think all of my CTMH sets are going to get donated because they have never stamped correctly no matter what ink I use. It's really frustrating, and I never pull them out because of it. I guess they just aren't the high quality that PaperTrey offers their customers. Nichole is TRULY a genius because when she makes her sets she thinks like a customer. She makes everything fit with everything else.....makes miniatures of the larger images, etc. I'm just BLOWN away every month, and can't WAIT until tonight when we all crash her server with orders!!
I think I'm going to like the new sets. I have resisted before, but I really liked what I saw this time. I love the nugget idea!! I'm thinking of all the possibilities!
But somehow I don't think I will be able to resist the new floral set - especially since it looks like it coordinates with some of the cuttlebug dies {swoon...faint}
and the bags - how freakin cute...perfect for little teacher/friend gifts

Umm yeah, totally love PTI! I resisted last month, but this month I'm going to cave, and I'll probably buy last months release too, so much for resistance!! Bwahahaha!
Not only is she a stamping genious, but she is SUPER sweet!!!! I met her at CHA and she is nothing but nice!!! She thinks ten steps ahead! These two new sets are AMAZING!!! They will be coming to live with me;)
Don't forget she will be hosting a Papertrey release party here on splitcoast!! 11pm EST!!! Woo-HOO! See you then!
Her stamps are soooo.. nice! I have not found an ink that hasn't worked. I want both of these sets plus some tins. I just hope I can stay awake for the party tomorrow night but if not, will be ordering on Wed. -- probably evening!
I have been trying to resist - I can't have one of everything right? Right???
But I have to say - right from the get go I have been fascinated by what Nicole has done. So clever, so pulled together. Marketing genius yes, but really its because she has studied and paid attention and knows what customers want. Heck - she knew some things I wanted before I knew I wanted them!
I think she has a high level view of where she wants to go - but also stays on top of the details. I think she will be very sucessful and I think she deserves to be.
I generally like open line images best - but these are sooo tempting. I'm having a hard time resisting and the new sets might just push me over!
Everything about PaperTrey is top of the line. There packaging is just as classy from the CD cases that come with labels to the acrylic blocks coming in a pink ribbon closure bag...just classy and first rate. I can't even wait to see all Nichole has in store for her company/business. She ROCKS...and is a mom of THREE! Maybe she's a superhero in disguise....

Anyone know what is the size of the address labels? I mean, I know it's Avery but which model#? TIA!
I am so there for the new Papertrey sets! I've been a holdout up until now...not that I didn't love the sets! I've been pining for Green Thumb for what seems like forever! It seems like she just keeps adding new releases just as I'm thinking about ordering, and of course I have to wait and see what the new sets are before I order...hehehe.
It has been my pleasure to get to know Nichole over the last year or so and work with her as a design team member. Not only is she amazing when it comes to designing stamp sets and selecting products to go with them, but she is a wonderful person to boot! It is such a privilege to be a part of her team and to share ideas each month that utilize the sets. She is kind, generous and funny. The type of person you really love to be with.
To answer Barbie's question - yes they are ready to go. All you have to do is attach them to the acrylic block, ink and stamp. I find that my preference for the larger stamps is chalk inks, but the Palette inks also work well especially for the words.
The fonts and font combinations that Nichole uses are just fabulous. Her sense of style is so simple and classic. If you haven't already tried a PaperTrey stamp set you are missing out. They are all fabulous - I know that I certainly would have a hard time if I only had to pick one. Thank goodness that isn't a choice I have to make.
So cheers to a fun party tomorrow night as the anticipation of the evening begins. Try and be patient when you crash their server - LOL! Because you are all going to want to be there when the bell rings
I agree that Nichole is a marketing genius! I have resisted buying so far (but there are several sets that I want)....I think this one is going to push me over the edge!!!
I can hardly wait to get these new sets, I have yet to buy any of Papertrey's stamps but I have been in love with them since I started seeing SCS's using them in their galleries. Just waiting for those extra dollars to come in before I can purchase, but the list is growing!!

Do NOT hesitate in buying from PaperTrey! The quality is BEYOND amazing! These are the BEST clear stamps EVER made! (Yeah....I'm gonna call myself the authority on it!) I always get such crisp images...and my favorite part is how they really THINK about the stamps that they are making for their customers. How will they work with other PT products, how they will work with other manufacturer's products that we might already have, how they make smaller images of the larger images, because sometimes you just don't WANT a big one, or it's nice to put the smaller one on the inside of the card, etc. Marketing freakin' GENIUSES over there, IMO! I'm so excited to be able to donate some of DH's hard earned $$$ to PT tonight! Hee, hee!
