I found a thread that has several links, PDF files etc. I didn't check to see if they still work but I hope it's helpful:

Cricut has 2 carts with cake slice dies. I made whole cakes and they turned out great. (Even found covered cake stands to put it in)

I

I hope this will be useful too some of you.
I was watching a Video from Pootles. by Sam
When I had an idea, I used the way she make the inside bit of the cake to make mine, But I realised it was possible to cut all the sections from one piece of Cardstock for each top and bases

The Tutorial is in my blog, let me know if I need to explain more, but I am sure you will all understand I only use my blog to remind myself how to make things....

Yes, I made several cakes with Cricut's Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More. I made them out of dark brown paper and embossed them in a swirl pattern. Then I added paper spiral roses around the edge. I gave them to friends and one friend says she gets people asking for a slice of her cake. Look on Pinterest.
