Back in December I participated in a swap that was for cards made with paper bags. I still have saved in an email the link to the original posting, but it is too old. However the person that did the swap is a friend of mine, and she had the pictures in her gallery ~ her name is wendalyn and here is the link to her gallery, scroll down to the bottom to find the pictures. Hope that helps. Pam

I recently made one for last month's Dirty Dozen gallery. I really didn't have a pattern but here is the best I can do for quick instructions. Lay you paper bag flat with the folded bottom side up to the right. The right part will be the inside of your card. Fold over at 5" and then fold back a piece about and inch and a half. On the inside to cover up the "folded bottom part" of the bag. I cut a square of cardstock and adhered it. I glued down the small folded strip...top edges of the paper bag and punch three holes and tied on some ribbon. It is hard to see without a pic. Here is the link to my card if you have a fan club membership...

Hope this helps,

Thank you both so much for the instructions! Hopefully I will be able to make a card now.

I forgot about the card I made for this swap ~ seems like forever since I made them. It was fun. Here is the link to the card. Pam

I did one at a Create-n-keep last november at the One of a Kind scrap show in Madison and I don't remember the name of the instructor but I am 90% sure she was from Inky Antics. This was a fun cand easy card to make. In the pics the edge that has the corners cut is the bottom of the bag. The edge that has the dark blue cardstock strip is the open end of the bag. It is a really fun card to make. Have fun.
