Default Anyone tried the new Martha Stewart Craft App?

So I guess Martha Stewart put out a new iPad app directly aimed at cardmaking. I downloaded it (it was free, so what's the harm, right?), and it's pretty neat. You can create digital cards with her line of scrapbook paper, stickers, punches etc. I'm not going to lie it was fun and super easy to put together a few cards.

But then I started thinking about how much money I've paid to purchase these very same punches and embellishments, etc. in real life and it left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Maybe I'm just being silly and a little overly sensitive that yet another thing I love is being replaced with a digital device. So I was wondering if anyone else has played with this new app, and what your take on it is.

I think the point may be for you to draw inspiration from the app then go buy her punches so it sounds like you are well on your way . I'm jealous because I couldn't find the app on iPhone. It sounds like fun!

I agree that it sounds like fun. IMO, even if these are print-out-able (are they? you didn't say), the three dimensional and truly hand made aspect of hand made cards is still better. Besides, even if the app is fun, I would still turn back to my craft room for that quiet, creative, non-computer time. Just my two cents - I agree with Leeann and think you should use it as inspiration!
