Default Panic

I was ordering some of the Pallette Inks online and returned to correct my street address. I had already entered my credit card number but had not finalized my order. I left the site. Is my credit card secure. I did not finalize the sale. I think I am OK but need some confirmation. By the way they sent up a warning after I tried to change the address. This computer buying scares me!

What company did you order from? That makes a difference. Do they have a phone number to call customer service? Does their site say secure buying? Not wanting to scare you, but that makes a lot of a difference. My husband knows a lot about this, as do tons of other folks on here. Give us more info on what company and we will help you as best we can.

I think that I am going to be Ok. I went back to the site and they say it is secure. If the order goes in I guess that will be fine as I wanted it anyway. I just didn't want to really mess up. If you think that there is something else I should do, please let me know!

Hi!
Are you concerned that the order went through? If the order goes through you will (EVERY time I have ever ordered online I have gotten it) get a confirmation page saying your order number is...or thank you for your order, etc. You will have to click on a button that says place order or confirm, etc.

As for security, when ordering online there are a couple of ways to make sure the site is secure. In the bottom right corner you will see a little lock, in the browser the web address will be https:// the s at the end means it's secure. If you look up right now the web address is: http://splitcoaststampers.com/forums...eply&p=3440012. It's not a secure page (doesn't need to be, I'm not giving you guys my credit card info LOL) Most sites will also say, order using our secure shopping cart. I make it a point to uncheck the little box they all seem to have now that says "Save my credit card information"

I'm not too good with computers myself so if anything here needs to be added to or amended, I'm sure someone will. Also, only order using your credit card, not a bank card. I think you are more protected that way.
