Palm Springs, California, Trip

I am going to be in Palm Springs, CA, the last week in July. Are there any stamping/scrapping stores in the area? How about other must see sights. Or other "stores" I should make sure I visit.......... ;)

I am tagging along for a convention, so my weekdays are pretty free. We will not have a rental car, so I am hoping public transportation is available.

Thanks in advance for any insights you can give me! Barb

Bumping to see if anyone has any ideas.

You have checked the weather, right? :D. It's a little warm there in July. I don't know of any stores there, sorry.

I don't see any stamping, scrapbooking or craft stores listed on their visitor web site:Shop in Palm Springs - Official Palm Springs, California Tourism Website & Official Travel Guide to Palm Springs Hotels, Attractions, Dining, Shopping, Tours and Conventions In Palm Springs

I saw no mention in a quick scan of the web site of public transportation. You may wish to call your hotel and ask. In the desert summer heat (for example, today the high was 101 degrees but cools off a lot at night), taxis might be your best bet.

Thanks Ladies--I was hoping that someone knew of a stamp or scrap store as I too did not see one.

Yes, I know it will be pretty warm........................

Wish you were a little closer to San Diego - then you could see me and Mika (our fellow monthly swap friend) :p

I will be back there in a few years for the National AD convention.
