Default Paint Can contents

I am in need of some inspiration - and I know you gals can help me out with that! I am getting ready for a craft fair, and I plan to do some filled paint cans. But I am having trouble deciding what to fill them with. What are your most successful and/or favorite themes and contents?

Smile I just bought a cute little teddy bear for one

At Tuesday Morning I picked up the CUTEST little bear ($2.99) wearing a pink velvet floppy hat, holding a purse that says, "Friends like you never go out of style". I am planning to put it in a can, stamped with bears and a friendship saying, for my friend of 35 years!

I also did this one: www.stampbystep.com/pdf/lovefilled_pail.pdf, but didn't know what to put in it. Maybe chocolate cookies...

Good Luck!

I've done "Christmas in a Can" - giingerbread cookie mix, hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, wassail mix, ornament, popcorn, candy canes, cookie cutter and a nice Christmas story printed up. My favorites have been ones I've done with items from the one spot at Target. When they clearance down to 25 cents I can fill the can with related items for like $1.50. I've done "girl stuff", "boy stuff", Kitchen Kan, and Spa Night to name a few. I love to load up on that stuff for future projects.

If you have a clear paint can, (Stampendous has them) there was a wonderful idea in their catalog. Drill a hole in the lid, and suspend an ornament from the hole so it hangs inside the can! I plan to make one up for display here in my store, and hope it sells a lot of the small clear cans!

I decorated one last year so my dd could use it trick or treating. I poked a hole in the lid and put a nob on the top so she could open it.
