Default Our Free Stamps

Just wondering if those of you who are on the Rubber Stamping Fun team have gotten your free stamps yet? I don't remember reading when they were suppose to be sending them out. Do you think they've had their baby yet??? Just wondering since we haven't been getting all that mail like we were.

Hi Gail,

I think a lot of us are wondering this. I had been having trouble with getting the emails to begin with... so I didn't notice the gap as much. I'm counting on all the fine SCS ladies to help keep me in the loop. LOL!

I'm hoping everyone's OK (mamma and baby) and that the next phase is rolling out soon.

Thanks,
Lisa

Thanks for posting Lisa. Surprised that more folks haven't. Maybe this wasn't the best place to ask this question or perhaps I could have worded it a little better??? Nonetheless, lets hope we get some news soon.

Since I never got the email to be able to pick which set I wanted, I doubt I will even be reviewing a set. (Yes, I was on the list, but didn't get most emails)...I have emailed Adam three times about it and have gotten no response. I hope everything is okay with the baby.

I hope everything is ok with the baby and mom too. I always get a little nervous when things get too quiet and even though he warned us that we may not hear anything for a bit, this is just too long and I'm now worried about the situation. I sending many prayers out there way.

I couldn't agree with you more, Gail. I'm hoping that baby and mom are happy and healthy.

I'll keep my eyes open for any updates...

Thanks,
lise

Yeah, I emailed Adam almost a week ago with questions about ordering (did you notice that the website says they don't ship out of the US, and I have some friends here in Canada who wanted to order) and I haven't gotten a response. He's MIA.

okay, I have to ask, this is the third thread I have read about this. What is the Rubber Stamping Fun Team and how did you all get picked to be on it? Just curious!

Lisa, Rubber Stamping Fun is a stamp company that had a banner running a while back asking for people to apply as "rubber testers" (for lack of a better term). MANY people applied and they picked about 125 people to participate. We will get stamps that are not released to the public yet, try them out, report about them on our blog, and give feedback to the company. They really seem to want to hear how they are doing and how they can improve...we are super excited about the opportunity!~

They also visited blogs on their own and contacted some of us this way. I was shocked when I got an email from the president of the company stating they had been viewing my art work and asked if I would consider joining their team. I'm pretty sure a few of us were found this way as well.

That's really interesting. I don't have a stamping blog, but I was selected. I have a personal journal that I often talk about stamping (or knitting) on. It's not the one linked in my signature though. Maybe I was selected because it was on a different type of site- so a different audience? I don't think they would have had a way to see any of my art work. It wasn't my understanding that it was any sort of design team though- just a review team.

It is a design team. The definition of design team is that you are given their stamps and design cards with those stamps and then post those for the public to see.

I didn't think of it as a design team either. Maybe I misunderstood (HIGH POSSIBILITY ) but thought of it more as a review type situation being that they want our feedback on their stamps.

I was told that "design team" does not mean you are designing stamps, but rather that you design cards for the company.

You are right. Design team's are given product (stamps, ribbon, etc...) to use for projects to be displayed for that particular company to 'showcase' what they have and what can be done.

RSF is giving us stamps to use so that we can give them feedback on the stamp itself, if the rubber is too soft, or if it doesn't stamp clean, the way it's mounted, etc...

At least this is my impression of why we were selected...

I agree. We didn't submit any cards at all. I am not a good stamper, no company in their right mind would want me to make samples. But if I like their stamps- I'm sure to tell my friends how much I love them.

Really, it is genius on their part to get their stamps being used creatively and visible. Well worth their money!! I buy almost all my stamps because I have seen cards that make me HAVE to have the stamps.
