Okay, so my dh has put me on a SU diet (I've been having altogether too much fun buying stuff from myself LOL). I would like to purchase one of the Oriental sets out of the catty- which one do you like the best? Why? Thanks in advance for any input- I've been humming and hawing about this for awhile and I just can't choose ONE. LOL

I don't know how you can choose just one, but if you must, I'd go for Kanji. And since they are not all that expensive, perhaps you could manage Bamboo II background. Between the two of them, you can make BEAUTIFUL stuff.

I agree with ReindeerTrout...if you HAVE to limit yourself, I say get Kanji and Bamboo background. I use both of those so often, and the results are gorgeous.

You are so right , I did not think to list those since I have them . But ,yes they are great ones to have . You can always get Brushstrokes later.
Personally, I'm saving my money for Calming Garden. I just love that set--don't know if it's because DH and family are Japanese, but I just love that set and it is definitely on my wish list!! I think there's so much you could do with that set, too, that would make it very versatile, and you wouldn't always have to go with the "asian" theme with that set--there are enough other stamps that you could make a garden without the asian overtones.
