Question Embossing Paste

2 questions:

1- Is there anything to add to hardened embossing paste to moisten it again - or just chuck it?

2. Is there anything to add to new embossing paste that will keep it malleable longer? I have often placed a sheet of Saran Wrap or wax paper between the jar and lid.

Hmm...I have not had the problem of hardening and I have some for years. Maybe a couple drops of water? Test it...if you are going to toss them anyway, you have nothing to lose.

Keeping the lid tight isnt doing it for you? the plastic wrap sounds good. Are you keeping them away from heat sources including the window in summer?

If you decide to contact the mfgs-I would love to hear their answers.

Tried adding water - water just sits on top of rock hard paste, and that was after a week of two. I'm in the Arizona desert, which sure doesn't help any.
