Opinions needed ASAP!
Hi ladies!
I have been asked to make a card for a supervisor who is about to go out on maternity leave. I had this great (I thought) idea for a spinner card. I used a bella stamp for the head and waist down, and then have 4 different "bellies" for her mid-section (2 showing her getting more preganant, one with her with the baby, and the final one with her skinny and ready for work again).
So here's were the opinion part comes in.
1. I need a sentiment to put on the card. Suggestions? All I could come up with is either a generic "congratulations" or "you're fabulous in any stage".
2. When I asked DH for suggestions, he thought the whole spinner idea was weird. Is he just being a guy, or do you all think it is weird too? It be nice if my supervisor actually likes the card, KWIM?

I love the idea and your sentiment of "you're fabulous in any stage." How creative! I am sure she will love it. Women get those things better than men.

Fabulous At Any Stage
I LOVE the card! I was thinking of a different kind of spinner. Your card is awesome! You should definitely go for it. Men just don't get it.
P.S. How did you attach the wheel inside? I didn't see any outside of a brad or anything! I love that idea!

Your card is awesome. What a fabulours idea the recipient is going to love it. On a side note- what color did you use on the skin? I have a good friend who is black and would love love to make a bella card especially for her.
TIA

Thanks for all the input ladies! I'll post it to my blog with directions when I am finished.
For the record, I used 4 different stamping bella stamps: Babyfellabella, teddybella, expectafellabella and dogwalkabella.
And the brad is hidden under the skirt.

Ditto! for some reason I was thinking this spinner card Spinner Card Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers in my mind when you described it!
I now have a rather "wrong" idea for a new mother card that would probably go for a Dirty Shanks card though!
