Default Oopsie Stamps?

I got a set of TAC Oopsie stamps when they sent me a new hostess set (they had originally sent two of the same one, instead of one of each)

They are really cute dogs. I know the only way to get an oopsie set is to get something off backorder, or just a general mistake- but does anyone have a sheet that shows all the different oopsie stamps?

Someone told me they are minatures of current stamps- but I don't recognize these. Might these be minatures of an old set? An unreleased one? Does anyone have more information about them?

BTW- I think the idea of oopsie stamps is just SO cool.

Hi Jess!

Hmmm, not sure there is a list. I think all of the LE stamps in the past have been oopsies though. Took me a few to figure that out. College education, no common sense.

So I wonder if they become oopsie stamps after the LE period is over, and the extra's just get the "Sorry about that" sheet set into them?

I was told by the office that the oopsie stamps are just that - oopsie stamps - they send them out when they make a mistake on your order or when something is backordered - as far as I know they are not, nor have been LE sets - I got a cut little bug set and a tulip type set - and they were about 1/2 the size of the LE sets- I have been an angel for a year and have not noticed that they send old LE sets for oopsies - that's not to say that they don't - jsut out of curiosity - I have catties from the past couple years - what do your oopsie dogs look like?

Thanks- that's interesting

So there is no list of what they all are- I can't order backordered items on purpose to "collect them all" (not that I would, seems like a silly plan. I know they don't send them out everytime anyway)

The ones I got have 3 images and a sentiment.
In a block font it says "I love my dogs" and then the images are of realistic dogs. One image is of 2 dogs, one of the face of a lab, and the other the face of another dog.

I tried scanning it- but I'm not sure how clear it looks. I don't want to stamp with it because I figured it would make a good incentive.

Thanks

The Oopsie stamps are never sold by TAC. They are as mentioned above, sent with items when they have been on backorder for a period of time or when a mistake has been made. However - there is no guarantee that you will get them everytime something is back ordered or if there's an error on yoru part. It's usually an "Oopsie Surprise!" type thing They ARE miniatures of sets that are or were in the TAC catalogue. I beleive the one you have is some of the images from "Family Dogs" which was in last year's catalogue (that's an off the cuff guess - don't know the set name for sure).

For those catching the similarity between the Oopsies and the Limited Editions that TAC has offered - you are kind of right. The Limited Edition sets began because there were so many requests to buy the "oopsie" stamps so TAC decided to start manufacturing smaller sizes of TAC sets and selling them on a limited basis (i.e. Limited Edition sets). The LE stamps are usually larger images and sets than most of the 'oopsie' sets that are sent by TAC.

So - if you get an Oopsie set - enjoy!!! You might get one you recognize or you might get some that are based on sets that have been retired

That is a wonderful idea! I have not been fortunate enough to have anything go wrong in my orders with TAC, LOL! See how that works? Pretty smart business!

Default I'm pouting....

Now I'm kinda bummed! I just got in a ink refill that was on backorder. I was glad it came, as I didn't need it yet, but totally forgot they sometimes send Oopsies. No Oopsie this time. Is it bad of me to hope next time its backorder for more than a few days?

Seriously, though, I was very impressed with how fast my order arrived. I really shouldn't complain, but hey, its late and I had a couple of martinis with friends, so... I do love TAC and their stamps. I am so jealous!

Lucky! I was kind of hoping for one when my markers and training DVD were on backorder from my kit. They sent them each seperately but no oopsies

I just got a backorder on Thursday and I had a Oopsie Stamp set in with my bo. And I got a Mini bug set from last year catalog.. Buggy Bugs.
It's cute and I might just keep it for my own use.
