I got my catalog yesterday from my demo but I can't wait to see what is in the mini catalog.
Is it just me or does there seem to be more smaller stamp sets (i.e 4-6 stamps) and better prices then last years book. They have such cute little sets for $12-16...

Great question. I would love to know also when the mini's come out and yes, the prices on the smaller stamp sets are awesome. The personalized stamped by sets are lower also.

I noticed the number of small, inexpensive sets, too, when I first saw the catalog. There are a lot of them, and they're very nice sets. It will make it easy for people to fulfill club obligations without spending a lot.

My timetable shows the Holiday Mini will be mailed to customers on or about Aug. 15 (if your demo has selected it be mailed directly to you). Sales period is September 1 - November 30.
Now is a great time for you to sign up to become a demo. If you have that big list of needs from the big catty, you could be benefiting from the sale. You get 30% off your first order. Plus you get the minis sooner you get the great monthly catty and access to the demo only SU! sponsored page (although not as much fun as this one.) And, if you decide its not for you, you just don't worry about anything. Don't meet the minimum for the quarter and you just go inactive. There are no penalties or anything. Talk to your current demo. She would probably be so EXCITED!!! to get a recruit. Lots of us would just die to have one eager person want to sign up under us!!
How soon after I order my demo kit will I be able to place orders? Could I conceivably get a demo # before I actually get a kit and do an order? My list of "needs" is so long. Or is it possible to order all the other stuff I want at the same time as the demo kit?
You can place an order before getting your kit. When I've had recruits sign up, I've called to check on their kit status and if they've processed it they've given me their demo ID number. With that they've been able to get started on the website. I've done it for recruits that couldn't wait to start searching the Stamper's Showcase and Stampin' Discuss. I don't think they placed orders before getting their kits, but they certainly could have.
I didn't get my kit right away, and I wanted access to the website, etc. So I called stampin' up and gave them my name, etc. They gave me my demo number and I was on my way. I did wait about a week after my stuff got sent in. They need time to file all the info and stuff. I really hope you decide to join. This is just such a wonderful company. I don't know why you wouldn't join if you have big orders more than 2 times a year. The quarterly requirements are only $300 and they don't even have to be $150 or better parties. They can be nickel and dime orders from individual customers or yourself. I LOVE SU!!!
