Default Question.... need answer ASAP-- about SU new catty...

Hi... I was wondering if anyone knew:

The IN COLOR papers/inks from the 2006-2007 catty-- will they still be in the new catty? I saw new "IN COLOR" colors in the Fall Preview. I need to know, so I can decided whether or not to buy them right now (well, tomorrow).

Thanks!

The 2006-2007 In Color colors (papers, inks) retire at the end of this July. They were always supposed to be for the one year. The new catalog will have a new set of 6 In Color colors. So, if you want something from the current In Colors, order now.

There will be new in colors each FULL catalog year - so the new catalog that comes out in January will have the same 6 that are in the preview brochere.

They are designed to last one 1 - July to June and then be updated with other colors that are the current trend.

Stock up on refills and you should be able to use your pads for a good long time. All of the incolors coordinated with selected colors in the regular 48, so you should be able to use them as long as you love them!

As others have indicated, Stampin' Up! has designed the In Color line to be one year at a time. These colors will only be available for one year and will then be replaced with new colors.

If you like the current, stock up on the papers, order an ink and the refill for your pads!

Wasn't to sure about the In Colors when they first appeared. I resisted buying them until sell-a-bration. Liked them so much placed an order for paper, ink pads and re-inkers! Still hoping that I have purchased enough paper. May have to order more before it retires.

Now with the new In Colors coming, I have said "I will not purchase them, well maybe the Guava, and the pomegranate looks nice, oohhh look at the wasabi..." Guess I will be ordering them earlier this time around!

Hope you are able to make a decision, if you order them you will be glad you did. Cool Caribbean is really, really pretty!!!

Okay... I don't have the pads, but if I get the re-inkers, how can I use them? I know you can do stuff like shaving cream and some of those different techniques, but if I don't have the ink pads, can I still use them like an ink pad? is there any way to do that?

I've read somewhere on another thread about making your own ink spots (but you have to purchase the non-inked spots to do that). I don't know what the source is...maybe someone will chime in.

By the way, I noticed your youngest was born the same day as my youngest (9/14/06). Fun!

I don't have the In Color inkpads either - but I use my refills with my blender pens or aquapainters. Works great!

You can order uninked spots from welbourn gourd farm (just google for it)
They cost like $1.60 each- but if you only order a few the shipping gets you (priority flat rate)

This info wasn't much help - can you post a link to the place? All of the items that come up on the google search for Wellbourn Gourd Farm don't really look like they are right for uninked spots.
thanks ~~
