Talking Okay. Fess up! Who else couldn't resist the Anna Griffin sale yesterday?

Did I really sign up to buy all 4 releases? I sure did!

I signed up, but I don't think I'll take all 4 dies sets. I'm not keen on the December or August, but I do like the other one. I hope they work well.

I caved. I think it is a lovely assortment, and want all 4 other autoships too.

That's a lot of product for the money.

I did too, and that was on top of ordering the scan and cut!

Sigh, What could I do? It was embossing folders and dies!

I'll confess: I even shocked myself by getting them . I thought it was a great deal. Although I haven't been using embossing folders very much, I do love the lushness of the Anna Griffin designs and every now and then I need something extra special. I've also drastically reduced how much patterned paper I own and buy - folders are a fun alternative.

And what a fun little surprise it will be when the other installments arrive, because I don't usually do anything like autoship and I bet I will forget, LOL!

This post is out of order, but since I'm not interested in all the auto ship bundles of dies/folders, I'd be willing to sell the sets I don't want to anyone that wants them. Just for the price that HSN is charging for the items with S&H and tax. Perhaps they'll just ship to an alternate address as if it were a gift. PM me if you are interested.

The HSN TS was an Anna Griffin bundle that included her Cuttlebug and then an assortment of dies and embossing folders. However, you could also buy just the folders (, embossing mat and dies (14) on their own for $60. Then, they're shipping out another package, same price every couple of months over the course of the year. You'll get a package that is florals, then Xmas, paisley and the last is Love. The dies include some border dies with matching embossing borders and a bunch of other items. Really lovely.

I'm not interested in all the packages and would be willing to work out an arrangement to sell it to someone who wants it at the TSV price. Perhaps HSN will ship directly to the alternate address.

Here's the URL for the dies/folders: Anna Griffin Cuttlebug? Embossing Folders & Dies - Lace Trimming at HSN.com

They are lovely, and thank you for the info, but I don't need that many new toys, so it's probably a good thing I was blissfully unaware

Guilty! I bought the embossing folders and dies, with my first autoship deal. I feel kind of guilty because that is a LOT of folders but I like how you can die cut the embossed borders to match. But the AG style is timeless so these things will be good forever. Probably a better investment than putting money in the bank actually.

you can cancel/skip any shipment you don't want, all you have to do is call HSN, or you can even do it online.

mobrien207, I wondered when I read your post but wasn't home so just checked now - the autoship is for $39.95 - not the $59.95 for the initial shipment . I am sure I wouldn't have purchased them at the higher price.

I checked HSN and the deal is no longer there at the lower price. I wanted the dies and the embossing folders. I have two cuttlebugs and one big shot so I don't need another machine.

Anna Griffin is not my style so I didn't order but a friend did and I saw her stuff yesterday. Some of the EFs are pretty and the borders that you cut then emboss are really cool. But,
how many different styles of lace will anyone actually need/use? It was overkill, IMO.
For those you got it, do you like the 5x7 size folder over standard A2 size?

I only bought the folders and dies as I, too, have enough machines. I opened the box and was delighted with what I found! I'll have a chance to play with them this weekend. I'm so glad I caught them on HSN - they're gorgeous!

Mary Beth - there was a set of 5x7 folders and a set of A2. I'm looking forward to playing with all.

I bought the set of 3 dies that also emboss. I agree with the above poster who said that the TS was overkill. The dies I bought are much larger than I had thought, which is great, and they are lovely.

I was wondering how long it would take - someone has 10 sets of the lace folders & dies up on e-bay for $84.95 plus $9.99 shipping. I suspect the price would be higher except HSN now has them back in stock for $79.95 with $7.22 shipping.

I have loved her papers for years but have been very disappointed in her stamps, inks and customer service. I spent a great deal of money on one of her stamp sets and they were horrible. I never received a response from the company after numerous emails and phone calls. I was not willing to invest more money in a product that may or may not work and then I am stuck with it. It looked nice but seem extremely high compared to the other companies that sell dies and embossing folders. to those that purchased I hope that they are wonderful and that you enjoy the products. Let us know!

My Mother-in-Law has been on the auto ship thing for these for almost or over an year now, in this time frame she has ONE FOLDER I really really WANT but, have not seen in the stores yet... ( supposedly they only had an 1 year thing then it would be fair game at stores...)

it looks like this: ( I borrowed her's last fall some time)

I love Anna Griffin items. I just can't get enough lace. I ordered the auto-ship and I can't wait for the next delivery. It was such a wonderful price when you consider all the embossing folders and dies that were included.

I do wish that there were only 5 x 7 folders and that some designs could be smaller.

Love, Love Anna Griffin! Here's proof if you want to take a peek:

Anna Griffin Thank You Cards by iluvpaper2 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

They are also posted separately in my gallery if you want to see them close up.

Hi, all, I've been away for awhile, and I'm back. I'm an Anna fan too. I was on the first auto ship, and found the embossing folders arrived in groups that went together thematically and stylistically, like these most recent lace folders. I love them! I didn't opt for the auto ship this time because of storage issues. But I did get the lace folders and dies. The different folder groups are really good for making card sets for gifts or sale, and that's why I don't think it's overkill to have these different groups. There's a real method to how they're put together. Also, I purchased Anna's new book on die cutting and embossing techniques, and I love it. Very useful and with more detailed instructions than some of her other books.

I agree that her new dies are quite lovely and different due to the size. For me that larger size is what attracted me since it presents some unique possibilities. I didn't get the "bug" and stuff, since I have so many, but I did purchase some of the dies to try. Looking forward to using some mists on them!
