Ok! Time to poll!
I wanna see how many people do this poll!
I can't function when I get tired!
I cannot function when I get super hungry! lol
Should have had a choice for "Fall off of chair because your blood sugar is so low you can no longer remain upright..."
I would have undoubtedly voted for the falling off the chair option! LOL!
That would be OTHER :) Hehe
I stamp until I get tired and just can't think anymore.
Once I'm tired my brain seems to cease to function and I have no creativity at all.
I stamp until I get tired and uninspired.
I usually stamp while my DS in napping and then have to stop when he wakes up. Or I stamp when he has found something to entertain himself and stop when he is wants me to play too, so I voted for when "someone interrupts"
I'm w/ the rest of the girls...when I'm tired my brain refuses to be creative. I actually monitor calls while I'm in the stamping room, and if it's someone I know is going to be long winded I let them leave a message (is that bad?)...I also hate it when I get hungry while I'm creating!
I do, however, have to stop at 3:00 p.m. to do the school run (usually I'm ready for a break by then). Lisa |
I voted OTHER....cause most of the time, it is a combination of ALL of those that gets me to stop stamping!! lol But, tired and hungry are the top reasons i do stop.
I chose other, because I stamp and scrap until my back and shoulders cramp!!
I'm like the above post ~ I stamp until I get tired or my neck and/or back hurt! Or I can't see straight! ;) No Pain no Gain!
(OT kinda like I get sittin' at my computer all day on SCS.) ;) |
I stamp until my kids cry. When I am stamping (esp doing something new) I just don't get tired. I was up until 2:30 the other night, because I learned to do the shaving cream technique. (and boy did i do it....a bunch of cards, a candle, and a gift bag)
I need to pick more than one!
Well, I do stop when I'm tired. I also stop when a show is on - unless it's something I've seen 100 times. BUT I usually stop when the muse has gone somewhere else! If I'm not feeling creative I can't do anything! |
When i am yawning so much my jaw hurts
I voted for unbareable hunger pains, but really it takes a combination of hunger, needing to pee, and screaming kids. lol
I work nights (only 3 days a week) ........so staying up until I get tired is me. I can sleep anytime my head hits the pillow....or so hubby says. I love stamping until the wee hours, not being bothered by anyone, doing my own thing, watching what I want on the boob-tube, and talking to self about if I like a design!!! LOL
The "answer" I was looking for was not there so I picked "other" - I stamp until I have to go to work....everyday...and sometimes I stamp at work if I can slip enough "stuff" into my apron pockets....and after work until ...well untill I wake up with glitter and ink on my face! Which I wash off which wakes me up so I stamp until I have to go to work....
I generally stamp at night after everyone has gone to bed. I stop when I am bleary-eyed.
Okay, so I voted "till I'm tired", because my other hobby besides stamping is sleeping!
I don't stop stamping when my kids cry, I'm kinda immune to their crying unless it's because they are hurt. Hmm, does that make me a bad mom or a good stamper? I still stamp while I'm talking on the phone, and if someone comes to the door, I tell them to come in and talk to me while I'm stamping. Lisa |
"Other"
I stamp until I need to shower and pick up my son from school. |
(o) All of the above! (except for kids crying)
I thought it would be cruel if anyone did not click "til the kids cry" but then I thought, of course you'd stop, but only momentarily. :) Fortunately mine are big enough that this is no longer an issue.
I was thinking "other" also - because I stop of I need some ideas but just need to close my mind. But then I realized that if I'm not tired, I'll go to the computer for ideas and go back. If I'm tired, I stop. So of course that means "til I'm tired." So that's what I clicked. I have to stop if I'm tired. |
I usually stamp at night so I voted for "tired", but also during the day...whenever it fits into my schedule. As a SAHM, it's far more fun to stamp than clean! So you should have had "until the bathroom looks like a scene from Jumanjii"! ;)
As far as hunger, all you need is a bag of M & M's and a Diet Coke...who needs to get hungry when there is CHOCOLATE!!! :D |
I usaully stamp untill I can nolonger move or keep my eyes open. Or untill my husband comes in the craft room to let me know there are only a couple more hours untill the alarm goes off.
I stamp til the kids won't let me anymore. At nighttime I stamp til I get tired.
I didn't pick the til I'm hungry one because I can multi task there. |
Hehe!
I make dumb stamper mistakes when I am tired.
I can eat and stamp at the same time. My stamps took over the dining room china hutch. They are in all the drawers that used to hold china/silver/napkins. Good thing I have huge furniture! Makes it really easy to get food when you are hungry and stamping with friends.
I voted tired. |
'till tired. :)
I usually only have time to stamp at night after the kids are sleeping, and since Zachary isn't sleeping so well lately it is definitely "when the kids cry" for me. Occassionaly I do have to take a break for food or a potty run, but since I am in the attic and it is one floor down to the nearest bathroom and two floors down to the food, I try not to do it too often...good for the diet!

Yep! I stamp until I have a meeting or have to be somewhere important! Or unless my dog needs to go out.
I stamp until my kids can't stand it anymore lol
I've been getting up around 3 am and stamping until 11 pm.... getting ready for a craft show....sooooo I have been falling off of my chair!!!
I chose OTHER and my other would be....until about 1hour B4 DH comes home! Then I do the mad dash to straighten up!

I'm under other as my choice wasn't there: I stamp till the "bedtime police" come make me quit!
