I love handmade cards! I throw away all the store bought ones that people send me but always keep the handmade ones! Your SIL was just jealous.

You girls have certainly made me feel better. The idea of taking white computer paper and sharpies made me LOL. I'm still laughing.
Thanks Deb for the kind words. Thanks to all, you have made my day.

Glad you're feeling better....Life is too short, don't let someone else ruin it. Send your MIL the card anyway, be sure you and your family write a personal note or sentiment in the card and guareenteed it will be treasured, appreciated and read over and over. A card with a personal hand written message/note always touches the heart more than just a best wishes signature.

I am so sorry about what your SIL did. I can relate some, my husbands family is a lot like yours is sounds like. I have made my MIL homemade cards for many occasions and put a lot of time and effort in them to make them special, and she has never mentioned a word to me about how nice they are or thanked me. She just throws it aside like it was a dollar card and never ever has acknowledged it meant anything to her. Not sure your MIL is like that, but sounds like the SIL is a real treat. Just remember your a bigger and better person than they are. OH now my MIL gets the dollar cards.

Hi there!
I would give your card to your mil from you and hubby and kids!
What a terrible thing for her to do!!! I would never give her a home made card again.
See you on Tuesday!

I'm sorry that happened to you. If it were me, I would've said "Fine", signed the card I made for her and given to her myself!

Default You suck card

I think you should at least MAKE a u suck card and sit it where you can see it. It would make you smile....hopefully not think of how rotten your SIL is but make you grin because you actually MADE the card. My husband cracked up when he saw my simple one. He said better yet make a beautiful card and stamp the "u suck" on the inside...I have been thinking about a u suck card for awhile so I finally made one. It makes me smile...lol

Nice Card sprtchick... I think everyone should make one of these for those times when it's what you really want to send but don't because we are the bigger people. Also an I Rock card for not sending the U Suck card!
