Me, too. I'm tryin' to keep busy with other things. My hubs came home last night and for one brief instant I jumped up, thinkin' it was the UPS truck delivering those 4 cases I pre-ordered.

Hubs walked in, and said, "What? You're not happy to see ME??????"

ROTFL! He knows I've been waiting . . . chuckle!

At least most of you guys have your demo near and can get the catty sooner. I'll have to make do with the online version until god knows when *sobbing*

There's some new sets. 2 sets have a couple stamps in them I like, but I won't buy the whole set just for 1 or 2 stamps. But everyone has different tastes. You might love these new sets

6 new colors.. only in classic ink, refill, and 8.5 x 11 cs.
I heard this wasn't a permanent line. Maybe they will change next year?

City of David is a nice set. Simple drawings. Two images. One general verse and Luke 2:11.

Nothing new for Easter.

Love the cover...it really is impressive looking...bit disappointed that so many sets were retired and there doesn't seem to be as many new ones added...way cute background stamps though...not much ribbon...disappointed, too, like the others about the hodgepodge kit not being offered individually...disappointed that the chalks can't be individually ordered as well...STILL waiting for a Mardi Gras set

My demo gave me a copy yesterday and I'm not overwhelmed by the stamp sets. But I do like the designer paper and the new colors. Going to definitely get the new inks and paper.

Ok so those of you who were waiting for this...

Of course I licked the catalogue when I picked it up! :P

J/K though....I do really like everything in it and since I am kinda new to this, I didn't have the last catalgue memorized, but I do recognize some of the sets prior and all that....but all in all I think it's a fantastic catalogue. The demo-lady gave me a TON of back issue mini cattys to peruse and some old cattys from the past couple years....so I have lots of pretties to look at tonight.

All I can say is that I will be up with the lamp on by my bed tonight making stickys!
I have to agree! I was very impressed with this catty and was also uninspired by the last one. This one has such great color combs for the samples. I love the new brads, buttons and ribbons. I am also very inspired by the new colors!

This one is a real hit in my book. (No pun intended)

Sooooo, I better start saving my money! The only thing I am disappointed in is the increase in some pricing. Shows the truth about the economy! This company made record profits last year so I find it a bit much that they increased costs to consumers.
That's how I am, too! Once I start seeing the examples made by other SCS'ers, I'll know what sets I will want to get.

I know how you feel about the husband in the doorway of the craft room, LOL!! I cringe everytime mine does that, then I just hope he won't come in and actually look around. Just stay in the doorway dear.....

If you were wanting to order stampin kids markers you better do it before fri. because they have gone up in price by $4 for Canadians. And if you were really wanting espress yourself you probably should order it because the set that they replaced it with just is kinda... whatever. Maybe I'll have to borrow it from someone first. I just feel really disappointed in what they've offered us this year. On the bright side the prices are lower on a lot of the stamp sets in the Canadian Catty!

Not as excited about the stamp sets. There does not seem to be that many. My wish list is, well, affordable!!

So, with all this talk, does anyone know how many new sets are in the new catty, VS. how many were retired? I would look, but have no new catty yet...I would really like to know this, though...

I feel your pain; I pre-ordered, too. Today's post came, no catty. No Mr. Brown came . . . sigh . . .

Two years ago I was on vacation in Corona, CA, visiting my little sister, when it was released (Convention was in Orlando at that time), but a sweet demonstrator in Corona let me come to her house and buy one from her!

From that moment I got it in my hands, it was quite a few hours before I took my eyes off it and gave anything else the time of day . . . eek! My sister, bless her heart, understood . . . chuckle!

Funny, the one thing I DIDN'T care for in this gorgeous new catalog was the color combos on the samples. Way too "retro" for my taste. But I love the new papers, accessories and especially the new jumbo wheels.

I am much more impressed with this year's catalog than last year's.....My wish list consists mainly of WHEELS.....There are some awesome wheels in this catalog, let me tell you. The hostess sets are WAY better. Some other nice sets too but more for the "cutesy" part of me - I didn't find any that I like as much as Heartfelt Thanks or Petal Prints or Watercolor Garden II. I need to look more and "study" it but all in all a great catalog. Oh, I almost forgot - I really don't care for the new coffee set, I was kinda disappointed. Guess I'll get a retired one on the buy/sell/trade instead!

My favorite must have is Stinkin Cute. I ran over to my friend's house tonight to pick up my catalog and literally kissed the air next to my husband and picked up the kid and ran out the door have already completely looked through it 3 times.

I just got back from vacation and forgot to call my Demo. Now it's too late, and as I am reading these posts, I am kicking myself. But . . . . did someone say "new paisley background"????
