Default o.k. ladies now that you've seen it what do you think of it.

I seen the new catalog today.and I have to say I wasn't impressed with a lot of the new sets. There are some that I like but nothing that I can say omg I have to have this set.So I will more than likely get the new ink pads,3 bg stamps.some new paper, some sets from last years catalog, the chipboard.still not sure if I need the wwc in neutrals yet.I like some of the new wheels esspecially the new wheek that goes with ahoy matey.very cute set.Not sure how much I would use it though.

I always tend to go toward the florals which seems to be what I like the most in this catalog.some new sayings for the insides of cards.I have so much from this catalog now that I don't think willl be a big year for me.Unless the mini's come out with something spectacular.

what did you all think of the catalog.the samples are great, and new ideas I love. But ? on some new sets.

got mine from my up line as my order has not come yet! I really like the jumbo wheels. I wish that they would have put all colors in the jumbo inks. Like the ribbons too. Glad that the spray tool is back I love to use it and now I can demo it again.

What I love:

the new background stamps
the new small background stamps
the new colours and that they have re-inkers
new scrapbook papers
new alphas esp best friends
chipboard letters
new ribbon packs are very pretty
i like lots of the new sets, especially circus train, by land, by air, be happy and the new bug and wild animal set
the colours on the edge of the catty that serve as dividers - so helpful
the brads are great (but too expensive i think)
the hostess sets are great, way better than before imho

little things i don't like so much
the cover - much prefer last years. the traditional colours and style do nothing to inspire me

.............so i really liked most of it.

Still waiting to get mine...(very impatiently I might add). I have to work 12 hour shifts Fri, Sat, & Sun...so I am really hoping that I get it before then so I can drool over all the new things I must have. In the mean time I am contenting myself with reading all the great posts about the new catalogue.

Although there are many, many things that I love in the new catty, I was left feeling like there weren't many new sets...especially considering all of the sets that were retired. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna have a heck of a time getting all the things on my wish list - but I agree with Lisa62...it just wasn't what I was expecting.

But to all of you without your cattys, not to worry - you WILL love it and there WILL be lots you'll probably want too...small backgrounds, ribbon packs, and so much more!!

I'm just tired of waiting and want to see it for myself - it's driving me insane seeing what everyone else is writing - although I have a feeling all the excitement I'm building myself up for will be a total let-down...guess I I'll have to keep checking the mailbox!

I really love the increased amount of choices of level 1 hostess sets. Wow! I want Warmest Regards and Tags so Much... And I didn't like either of the 2 tag sets last winter. And the hostess simply scrappin kit is too cute!

My must have sets:
Booglie Eyes p.30
What a Hoot p.31
Hip Hip Hooray p.59
First in Fashion p.65
All Through the Year p.69
On the Move p.83
Espressoly for You p.83
Give Thanks p.126
Bugs & Kisses p. 145
Stinkin' Cute p.147
Super Squirrel p.147
All in a Row p.161
Trimtastic p.163
Dotted BG
Flannel BG
Warm Words p.177
Happy Everything p.181
Many Merry Messages p.185
Amazing to Zany p.191 (Like EFP)
Tons of jumbo wheels... And I've never liked any of them before. Wheeling is hard, but I'll have to learn now!
None of the new flower sets impressed me. But I have a ton already!

I guess you could say I wasn't disappointed!

I am still waiting for mine. I am hoping tomorrow.

For me I think if I put too high of expectations I will get disappointed. But that is for everything.

My expectations are running wild right now. They did last year and it took me a bit of time to go through the catty a few times. Then I was well pleased.

Maybe spending a little time looking through and picturing cards you could do might be worthwhile?

Seen what?

Seriously I'm just trying to be patient until I eventually get the real copy in my hands and not look too closely at threads with people saying this is good but that isn't.

I AM impressed! I was pretty uninspired by the last catty just because there were so many sets that were already in the minis and hostess sets. This is full of fun! I think there is little bit of something for everyone. (My demo gave us ours tonight at stamp club, but I won't spoil the surprise by telling anything else.)

All I can say is that I will be up with the lamp on by my bed tonight making stickys!

My demo got her catalogs today so I was over there in a heartbeat!! I love this catalog! I was not disappointed at all! I just made a new wish list and have at least 15 of the new sets on it!!!! I didn't even make a list for the new accessories yet, but I have to say that I really like the new ribbons and the chipboard letters. Some of the new wheels are just spectacular! I wish everyone could get their catalogs the same day! If you haven't seen one yet, I really don't think that you'll be disappointed!!!

I can't wait to see the catty also, called my demo today and we are both anxiously awaiting! Sometimes I have to see some cards before I fall in love with a stamp set. I'm sure there will be a ton I'll love instantly and some that I will fall in love with over time after seeing posts on SCS!

I have about a dozen sets on my wishlist from the new catty, which is not so bad. But the list constantly gets longer and longer as the year goes by and I start to see all the wonderful designs and cards that show up in the gallery. With last year's catty and minis, I never gave Floral BG, Crosshatch BG, Best of Cluck and Long-time Friend a second glance and then I was just wowed by the gallery and had to get them all!!

WOWZERS!!! This catalog is AWESOME! You should see all of the post it notes hanging out of the sides of mine marking everything I HAVE to have! Here's some of those must haves...
All that gorgeous paper!!!
ALL those simply scrappin kits!!
All those level one hostess sets, and a few of the levels two and three.
SO MANY new setnitment sets!
SO MANY Wheels!
ALMOST ALL of those backgrounds!

I was a bit disappointed in the baby sets (nothing new), and the wedding set. Also, they retired so many alphabets this year and didn't do a very good job replacing them.

I think those artists did one heck of a good job with their examples! LOVE this catty and can't wait to order!!!!

I was very pleased overall with the catalogue. The only thing I was disappointed in was that you could not buy the Hodgepodge Hardware items seperately. Also I was disappointed that they didn't have more Christmas stamps but then again I am addicted to Christmas stuff. I was very pleased with the sentiments and the flower stamps. I have lots of stickies on my catalogue to ponder over. Now if I only had MONEY!!!(lol)

OK, I'm reeeaallyyy jealous with everyone who has received their catty. I won't get mine until around the first week of July. I might just have to call my SU demo and see if she's got them in yet. I myself wasn't impressed with the 05/06 catty. There was only a few stamp sets that I had to have. I hope I like this one!!! I haven't used the watercolor crayons I think I might buy one family color and try them out..... Desperately waiting in Oregon...

I have not seen it but it doesn't matter if I am not impressed, because over the year I will become impressed. Sets that I never dreamed of liking will become favorites. I can count on it. I did not like last years catalog but I now own many of the sets from it. I could not see all the hoopla over Heartfelt Thanks but it grew on me and now is one of my staple sets. Sooooo, I better start saving my money! The only thing I am disappointed in is the increase in some pricing. Shows the truth about the economy! This company made record profits last year so I find it a bit much that they increased costs to consumers.

got mine tonight! stayed up til now (2:25 a.m.) taking it all in and i love it!! i think the cover is beautiful (love the paper pattern on it). also, i really like the way it's organized into sections. i saw a lot of new stamps i know i'm going to want. and annabelle, you are so right! i'm going to want ones i don't even know right now that i want. lol. one of you wonderful artists is going to make a gorgeous card using a set i thought i didn't like and 'bingo', all of a sudden it's something i have to have. scs has really taught me to see things in a different light and to not judge too quickly whether i like something or not. my husband stood in the doorway of my craftroom the other night and said 'do you have any idea how much money you have tied up in your craft stuff?' and i said 'no...' and he said 'do you want to know?' and i smiled and said 'no....' i'm not going to tell him i just got a new catalogue.....

Got my catalog today . . . I love the new colors, but too bad they don't have matching stampin write markers!

Also, Stampin Up! led us to believe that lots of the stamp sets and paper and other items from the mini cattys would not be available again, well, lots of them are in the new catty (like the tag punch and flower punch)!

Lots of stuff on my list already, lots I can do without. 12 months to decide!

Forgot to add I can't go back an edit from my post not sure why.

I love how they added a section for each catagory like 1 page for the sets of all the holidays..you'll see when you get the new catalogs.

I thing a lot of the new sets are too cutsy for me.Not enough masculine sets.

I'm a demonstrator who pre-ordered in the middle of May and have yet to see my catalogs!

Out of curiousity - what sets from the mini's are in the new catty? I bought quite a few and would like to know which sets I should sell at stamp camps/workshops.

Default STILL WAITING

OK so I have pounced, and I do mean pounced on the post office since coming home from vacation on Sunday (we had 3 days of mail while away you know) and it still isn't here My DH has actually said "I CAN'T WAIT FOR YOU TO GET THAT NEW CATALOG".He is so well trained and supportive!

Guess pacing back and forth may be a bit irritating for him. But when it is a new Harley catty he understands. To each his/her own passion I guess. I hope it comes today.

There are a lot of nice new sets but, honestly for me, the only sets I'm interested in are older sets that I haven't bought yet. I do like the new colours of ink, especially that caribbean one! The BG stamps are great in this catty. I think that as I see some new samples from this catty show up on this site other stamps will make it to my wish list.

Mine was my bedtime reading material last night! I like this catty. There are some really neat sets that I will be adding to my wish list. The new hostess benefits are great. Lots of great stuff!!! I will be looking it over and over the next few days...making my list....woo hoo!

I was not disappointed. I am most excited about the new Paisley BG. There are 16 new sets on my wish list, in addition to the new colors, ribbon, and brads. The cover is beautiful. I am so HAPPY that Looks Like Spring and the Spring Boquet punch made it in!! Woohoo!

I LIKE THE CATTY - PAPER IS GOOD, SOME REALLY CUTE STAMP SETS, BUT DISAPPOINTED IN THAT THE HODGEPODGE HARDWARE KIT HARDWARE IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE IN "REFILLS" - AND I WAS HOPING THAT WE WOULD HAVE MORE DECORATIVE RIBBONS - POLKA DOTS - INDIVIDUAL - NOT THOSE PACKAGES THAT ARE NEW.......................................

Well ladies I think after looking at the catalog over and over again.I have a change of mind.I am seeing things that I didn't the first few times when I looked at it.It's now 11a.m. and have been looking at the catalog since 8 a.m.while talking on the phone to my sister-in-law and noticed things I didn't the first couple of times and see more that I like.so with all the mini's I will be spending more than I planned not to mention when all you scs ladies go to it.I'm sure that alone will change m mind on some sets. For example and even though I don't have enough pictures to use with the set But.ahoy matey and the wheel that goes with it.THERE JUST SO STINKIN CUTE.

plus my saying says it all.
