I have a question, & I did try to read some of the pages in this thread, but I was going crosseyed... Anyway, I've recently become a fan member because I really love this sight and want to support it because we really have something special here. My question is, will I get 40 lashes with a soggy noodle for uploading on Sunday? I know that my cards are uploaded immediatley now but is that something with programming or am I still causing work for the mods? I don't want to do that. But I also don't want people thinking I'm ignoring the rules because Sunday is the only day that I usually have time to upload. If it is the case that I still shouldn't upload on Sunday, I will save them for Monday.

Feel free to upload on Sundays as we don't have to approve your uploads - we just ask that you put them in the correct gallery - LOL otherwise we then have to move it

Nope! No 40 lashes with a wet noodle for you! One of the other perks of being a Fan Club member is that you have instant uploads...no approval required.
BTW, you have checked out the Dirty Dozen Gallery, right?

Fan Club members are welcome to upload on Sundays as long as you please please categorize your upload to the proper gallery....not just put stuff in Member Gallery. Make sense?

I have read through the post here and I think some of you are being very rude to others I thought this site was about not only cards, but uplifting others. Over the 2 years of being on here I have notice a big difference in the way people treat others. Maybe we should all remember what sundays are all about, and it has nothing to do with this site.

Truly not trying to be rude to you, but I'm confused about your post. I've been here just over 2 years and made alot of friends. For the most part I think people here treat each other with the utmost kindness and respect.

I try to help out from time to time here in this thread.
The reason for the post is to remind other's NOT to upload photo's on Sunday.
It's a Day off for the MOD's (who by the way do a Awesome Job!)
Everytime someone loads a photo on Sunday or anyday for that fact. It has to be approved!!
And this take time.
So with the MOD's being off on Sunday..Nothing get's approved..
Unless you are a Fan Club member!
When you become a fan club member your photo upload without approval. Just make sure you upload it into the right spot.
Sorry if you think we are being rude..We are just trying to get the word out to others.
And sometime we get carried away with things.

As the originator of this thread I truly apologize if you felt I have been rude in some way. In all honesty this thread is simply meant as a way to get the word out to the community about No Upload Sundays. We have tried to have fun with the thread an have never ever posted anything to be mean or hurt anyone's feelings. I'm sorry if some of our joking has not come across as such. If you'd like to PM me and let me know specifically what you are seeing as rude I would be more than glad to take a look. I really feel bad if someone's feelings were hurt by something I said.
These people bumping this thread have good hearts and just want our Gallery Mods who vounteer so much time to SCS to be able to take Sundays off.

When someone uploads on a Sunday and they say oh, I am sorry. And the chatter is about we need to make the Words Bigger. And then after that, there is chuckling and bantering. How do you think that makes someone feel? Someone who has already made the error, has had it pointed out to her, and has apologized?
I do not think uploading on Sunday's is a serious crisis. Great you want to help, but if someone errors, jokes are not appropriate. The darling woman apologized. And still it went on.....

Yes Karen and I have apologized twice already for missing her post. The big font and joking was never directed at her - it has been going on for over a year. We simply missed her post. And once again I apologize for that. Is there anything I can do to possibly make up for it at this point because now my feelings are getting hurt. How many times does the error need to be pointed out and how many times do I need to apologize before we can move on?

Wow with alll the attention this is getting I'm betting no-one (myself included) will forget about the no-upload Sunday request.
I don't want myself to be the cause of any of this so if I have contributed to it in any way I apologize and would like to just move on.
Thank you and yes, I do appreciate all the mods do on here and the awesome card ideas I get.

I just think some of the SCS regulars need a head up. I do not want to hurt anyone's feelings. But, the joking in many forums after someone has a real concern is not just isolated to this thread. I hope the regulars can start being more open and understand that there is human error. Many are just excited to be a part of this wonderful place!!! And, that joking. while that may be your family habit, can actually be cruel.

Jami, of course you are happy she has more than apologized. She had already done that. You are gracious now. Good for you!!

Wow, that was quite the first post to a thread for somebody to make.
I'm sad that it was done in such a way that it came across as very hurtful to a dear friend of mine.

Karen is right it is not just in this thread. But I don't mean for anyone to keep apologizing. I totally agree that we should try to remember to respect the sunday's no up load. This is a wonderful place and the mod's should be proud of the site and the work they do. And thanks! I think all of us really appreciate all the work you do.
Thanks again

So now you know how she felt!! The person you hurt was a person who downloaded on a Sunday, was reprimanded and then apologized. Even after that-- there were jokes, "enlarged font", and she was made to feel like an idiot person.
Think about it. I do not care to hear any explaination. The response to her apology tells it all. This is common here. I think it is a wake up call for all of the staff, the moderators, and the regulars. enuf said.

Well of course that is how you would feel!
You obviously have not understood so therefore the learning curve has dropped to zero.
So sorry you are hurt. Do you ever think of the others???
