I keep thinking this is what I need to do to my LAPTOP computer. (Freeze it so I am not tempted to buy stuff!) ;) Those darn credit card companies. One of mine raised my limit to $6000. My emergency card has a $7000 limit. I can honestly say that I have NOT even been tempted to use it though. I seriously want it for emergencies only. (Although I sure hope I don't have an emergency THAT expensive.)
I have a secure password protected program (SplashID) on my computer and my PDA with all of my login and credit card information. Freezing the actual credit card wouldn't stop me from using it. ;)

I must confess that I bought 1 $1 stamp at M's yesterday. I went in to get some stuff to make a door wreath for my grandmother's birthday and I was able to fend off the new stuff they have. I guess I should be glad it was just one stamp and not the other 50 items that were calling my name!

Fell off the wagon too many times this week,
Next week school starts, and I will be back at work;
so will have NO more time to shop!
Just will create afterschool when dd is doing homework, no more excuses.
Actually, I shopped for swaps and halloween goodie bag stuffers, and bday gifts, but I did cheat and get some $1 stamps for myself. Mostly, I bought organizing stuff for my new craft area (does that count?) and ribbon, can't walk down that ribbon aisle without stopping (LOL)
Can't wait til payday~

So I am back from our week away, and as I mentioned before, all I needed was glue dots at M's. So we went there and I am proud to report that I got my glue dots, and a pkg of 2 cutter blades. (Need sharp ones of those, right??) That was all good.
But there were 5 spools of ribbon in the 1$ what my kids wanted for their projects. Technically they were for the girls, so does that count? I think I did well, all things considered. Didn't even go in a scrapbooking store.

Ok, so I did get some things today, but I returned a Tonic cutter that I didn't like so it used store credit, does that count? Also the things I bought were to make a paint can for someone who's going to pay me for it. Definitely doesn't count. I used LESS than my store credit, when I normally would have gone over. Yay mee!!!!!

I've done good this week. I did buy some blue embossing powder but I didn't charge it and I'm actually going to return it because it's not the right blue!

I've been pretty good! I bought some glue at my work (so i saved 25%) and I even went to Michael's and did buy a single thing! It was so beautiful!

Waaaahhh, I am losing my willpower. I am working on kid card and Christmas card projects and I just keep seeing more things that I feel like I must have. I think I've spent $100 in the past few days - on stuff I "needed" (mostly) but I feel like I've fallen off the wagon. Actually the wagon is way in the rearview mirror. :(
I think my problem really lies in having the perfect thing. I'm just not satisfied making do with what I have. Any suggestions for getting over this issue?

I'm going to chime in! I haven't purchased any craft-related, stamp or scrappy stuff for over a month and a half! It's killing me though, LOL. I've been avoiding the gallery at all costs and reorganizing the stuff I already have.
I just pulled out a bunch of stamps that have never seen ink and some patterned paper I've been hoarding. Hopefully that will subside my craft cravings for awhile!

I did send out a few RAKs and swaps I'm in.. Does spending on postage count? Otherwise, I haven't purchased anything paper craft related for a week. Tempting as it is, w/ email sale ads from favorite companies, new sets from various companies, SCS gallery want it but really don't need it stuff..
Oh well, one day at a time..

Not going so well here either! I bought a bunch of stamp pads and paint yesterday after the class I took with Tim Holtz. I went to JoAnn's and bought stuff for a secret pal swap so that doesn't count--I signed up before I agreed to no spending. I am just going to buy necessities and not buy craft stuff until after my birthday (in Sept).
I think that sounds good!

I should add I am using the paint and chipboard I bought yesterday right now!
I also used the gina k set I bought twice already and I used my oldest stamp set. I am in the midst of cleaning. I have started my Christmas cards too. IT is amazing what you can get done when you stay home, too bad I have to work tomorrow.

no shopping pladge
Well, I'm not doing too badly so far buuuut HL has 30% off of CB stuff this week and then there's the new Papertrey release on the fifteeenth and I still haven't gotten my new SU catalog. I really can't claim to have self control, just lack of opportunity and really, it's only the 8th of January!
