night owl or early bird??

HI!
I was wondering are you a night owl or an early bird?
I often stay up and stamp until 2am. I am a night owl for sure!
The kids are sleeping and my house is quiet!

How about you?

Jovi 03-22-2005 07:21 AM

Night Owl by heart
Early Bird because I have kids

athena308 03-22-2005 07:23 AM

WHO? hoot hoot, night owl :)

amystampz 03-22-2005 07:27 AM

The only time I can stamp is at night. 10p-12a! I'm such a night owl!! :D

Disneywed 03-22-2005 07:59 AM

If I want to actually get anything done, it is from 8pm to 3 am usually....and since I don't have a stamping "room" until we close on the house in july....it's another half hour fropm that tacked on to put everything back into the closet. Counting the days till that closing!!! But.....until then tbhere is me, moonlight & STARBUCKS!!!

owl

I am a total night owl! I am fussy in the morning!

stampinsusie 03-22-2005 08:06 AM

Totally early bird - between 4 and 5a.m. Make my first cup of coffee and while it's brewing the first thing I do is check my email and SCS. I get my best work done in the morning.

Night Owl by force - my 11 moth old son has decided to become nocturnal!

stepheb 03-22-2005 08:39 AM

I love the morning!

Nothing beats getting the coffee started and going outside to get the newspaper while the neighborhood is quiet. Sounds weird - but it makes me feel like I've got a head start on the day and get a little bit of the fresh air all to myself!

Of course, with 2 small children - this doesn't happen as often as I would like right now!

But either way - I can't stay up late!!!!!

Whooo! Whooo! Whooo me?

Night owl with an early bird husband and family  Let's just say that my body may be up with them but my brain is still asleep

sunnywl 03-22-2005 08:56 AM

If I could choose when to stamp, I do best in the mornings or daytime but I have a toddler, so technically the best time to stamp is at night. I get SO tired at nights! Sometimes I have to drink coffee to stay awake and stamp because I want to so bad! :D

Stampmomma 03-22-2005 08:57 AM

I'm a night owl too--and I have to get up early for work! But for some reason, no matter how early I wake, I cant sleep at night, maybe because the night time is the only "me" time I feel I have, so I try to prolong the evenings as much as possible!

stamping_KML 03-22-2005 08:59 AM

I'm a total night owl. I'm usually up until 1 am, even when I need to work the next day. :)

mykidsmom 03-22-2005 09:14 AM

Early bird b/c of kids but also by choice :)

kimmiesmom94 03-22-2005 09:14 AM

night owl by heart, but forced to be a morning person due to working day shift at the hospital. I much preferred afternoons, but days works better for my family.

Hugs!

I am definitely a nite owl. Somehow the stamp ideas come better around the night time. Then on the weekend I like to do my stamping in the afternoon.

TwingleMom 03-22-2005 09:27 AM

Definitely a night owl. I tend to get my second wind around 11:00 pm. There are a few challenges to being the only night owl in a family of early birds. There are many nights that I am up until 1:30 or 2:00 AM and then get up with the kids at 6:30 AM. Oh well, the price I pay for "ME" time. 8)

rlayton 03-22-2005 09:39 AM

I am a morning person, but I have to stay away from stamping if I need to sleep at night. It keeps me awake for hours after I quit stamping...all those ideas in my head.

cindy_canada 03-22-2005 09:43 AM

Definitely a night owl! I went to bed at 2 am two nights in a row because I was too caught up in what I was doing to stop, even though I have work in the morning.
My sister's teacher told her that "night owls and early birds" don't really exist and that people don't have a natural tendency, but I don't believe him for a minute!
Inspiration definitely comes more easily at night for me.

lishee 03-22-2005 09:45 AM

Most definitely a night owl.

Mindo 03-22-2005 09:48 AM

I am a morning person. I get up around 4:45 am and leave to go to the gym at 5:10 am

dbdteixeira 03-22-2005 10:15 AM

I'm a morning person cause the kids can sleep in. I would stamp and create at night but if i stay up late the kids stay up late too.

PenelopePitstop 03-22-2005 10:17 AM

Night Owl all the way!

My kids get me up early with them and I take a nap while they do so that I can be up when it's more natural for me. Even when I skip the nap right around 8pm I get my energy and I'm up for hours. It's genetic for me, all the women on my mom's side of the family are night owls and even on my dad's side he has brothers and sisters who choose to work night shifts because that's when they function best.

randie58 03-22-2005 10:35 AM

Night owl for sure.....and I can't leave anything unfinished to continue working on another day. So I've been known to stay up all night and keep on working through the next day to complete the project!

Stampinonthefarm 03-22-2005 10:38 AM

I'm laughing at the morning people remarks. I get up at 3 a.m. to get to my job by 4:30 a.m.! The time most seem to be getting up. I even found time to stop by scs before I left the house this morning! My best time for stamping is Friday and Saturday mornings when DH goes to the barn and I don't have to go help, the house is quiet and I can stamp!!!!!

wozi14 03-22-2005 10:43 AM

yes...both too!

Granny Hawkins 03-22-2005 10:48 AM

Night owl for scrapin' and stampin' and SCS definately but I fully agree with loving to be up early with the coffee, newspaper and birds singing before the rest of the neighboorhood wakes up. Such a wonderful time of day. It may take all I can muster to get out of bed but once I do I love it.

grace 03-22-2005 10:49 AM

My natural biological clock is a nightowl!

AshleyAnne 03-22-2005 10:53 AM

Night owl checking in! I have to get up early for work and by 5pm I'm exhausted and just want to sleep. but 9pm I'm wide awake and ready to stamp. Usually don't crawl into bed until 1am. My husband is getting put out with me not joining him in bed earlier. Guess I better work on that if I want to stay married another 20yrs!

katiestamper 03-22-2005 10:55 AM

Early bird. Up with the sun. 8)

mjrmom 03-22-2005 10:55 AM

I am definatly a night owl. I work partime midnights, so I am used to being up. Beside when everyone, (Husband, boys - 12, 13, 23) is home, it is hard to "get into" stamping or on the computer. So night time it is for me.
