I can't stand that set! I don't know how long it has been around, but when I saw it on the list my first thought was "thank goodness!"

Am after a couple of retired SU stamp sets.
Fairie Land and Serengeti, (not sure of spellings) Saw these in old catalog and would love to get them. Please PM me if you are willing to part with them.
Thanks

It was in the 96/97 catalog. I have 95/96 at home, and will check tonight, but it's at least 10 years old now

Rumor has it this set was designed by Shelli's sister and she's kept it around for sentimental reasons. I can't stand it either but I've sold several.

My Mom picked this as her first SU stamp set just three years ago. I was so disappointed lol! It really is a great set for starting out.

It's been around forever-I'm totally tired of it-but I've sold a ton of the set because its so versatile for the beginning stamper.

I think Rox is correct. 1996. It is cute but dated. I still like it but wasn't sad that it is going. It can be made cute though. See Link to card 1 and card 2. I just used it twice recently to make these two cards and thought they turned out so sweet.

I never liked this set until I saw it with the French words. Then I bought it.

aww - this was one of my first sets. It is very versatile, though. I almost put it in my list of sets for sale, but then saw some really cute cards in the gallery here and decided to keep it!!!

I have it and seldom use it, but usually after seeing anything Kittie does I tend to fall in love with the images all over.
