Default Kids & Inky Hands...Any suggestions?

Does anyone know of an effective ink removal method from hands? Specifically, Stampin' Up! classic ink? Thankfully nothing got on clothes or furniture, but school tomorrow.....

Cool

Have you tried using a stamp cleaner. I know that it cleans ink off my fingers. I use the Staz-On Stamp Cleaner, but I am sure that just about anyone would be worth a try. Let us know if it helps at all.

If you do it fast enough hand sanitizer (the gel kind) removes ink from hands. I usually have a pump bottle handy when I stamp. I also keep some wipes handy (esp. the ones that are more textured/heavy duty so I can do a bit of scrubbing).

HTH and ...

Thanks...I thought about using stazon cleaner, but the bottle says to keep off skin (not that I usually heed warnings like that). The bottle doesn't say what's in it. Do you know? It's definitely too late for the hand sanitizer, but I'll definitely try that another time. Any other suggestions?

I use a powdered hand soap (By Dial) called Boraxo that actually leaves my hands feeling very soft. I think the "powder" texture helps remove the dirt so perhaps baking soda would work?

Good luck and if you find a solution, please share.

Try rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. I have had Stazon cleaner on my hands, and it doesn't hurt them - just be sure to wash well with soap and water afterward.

I use the stampin mist from stampin up and scrub my fingers on the cleaning pad. I use hand soap to get the majority off if I don't use the cleaner and pad.

Try getting them to wash their own hair. Seriously! I find I can never get ink off my hands with regular hand soap and water, but it fades considerably after I wash my hair! I think the combination of shampoo plus the texture of the hair and the rubbing really helps!

I've done the nail polish remover thing. It will fade the ink some, but it won't remove it completely.

Waterless hand sanitizer gets it off for me! Great stuff to keep in the craft room...
