New TAC Catalog?

HI folks,

Any chatter or sneak peeks regarding the new TAC catty coming out this summer? There is a new TAC catty coming out this summer, isn't there? :)

TIA,
CMC :)

NDStampGirl 06-03-2009 05:20 AM

YES, there is a new catalog coming out July 1!!! I have seen a few sneak peeks, but don't have them in a format that I can share. Hopefully there is another angel out there who does :) The few I have seen look great and I am very excited for the catalog to come out!

jeanstamping2 06-03-2009 03:19 PM

Yes the Catalog comes out July 1st. 2009. We went back to ONE catalog per Year, With 2 mini catalog Fall and Spring.

Right now the only sneak peak that I've found in on our Demo Only stuff.

They haven't shared with us the sneak peak that we can share with you all.

But from what I've seen It's going to be good!!

And I know that we are going to be getting some Double Sided paper.

Something most of us Demo's have been asking for.

Skinnylatte2go 06-03-2009 03:39 PM

Does anyone know if or when the retiring list will be posted? Didn't find anything the TAC website. Thanks. Joan

chickers089 06-04-2009 09:56 AM

Not a fan of the robots, but the sneak peaks I saw are actually really cute. It looks like a diverse catty so far.

scrappingmelissa 06-04-2009 12:11 PM

are the sneaks on angelnet?

allamericanstampers 06-04-2009 12:36 PM

They came out in the newsletter so they should be there...I think it's under the seminar document.

There's quite a variety of images - as usual, something for everyone!

scrappingmelissa 06-04-2009 12:41 PM

oh i hope i didnt delete it..

glitterdovefairy 06-04-2009 03:10 PM

I agreee there is something for everyone in the peeks. I like about 1/2 of them.

jeanstamping2 06-04-2009 05:15 PM

I like the New Sneak Peak Robot Stamp set. It's on my list of stamp set's to have.

Of course I have a 4 year old Nephew who will love getting Home made cards and gifts from me. Using this darling stamp set.

I can't wait to see what else there is to come for the Next catalog.

From what I've seen so far...I'm Happy with it!!

Did anyone ever post the retiring list? I'll put it here in pdf. I hope it is ok to post it! If not, I'm sure a mod will delete it :)

jeanstamping2 06-05-2009 05:06 PM

Thanks Sheila for posting the PFD of the Retirement list.

I was looking for mine. But I think I deleted it.... oops!

I lucked out this year. I only had 7 stamps that are retiring. Which made really happy!!!

InkStazOnMe 06-06-2009 12:27 PM

You're welcome. Glad to help! :)

Thanks Karen. Off to check it out!

glitterdovefairy 06-25-2009 09:53 PM

Is there a way to see if you have active status? I haven't placed a order since the 1/2 off sale so I don't know how that works.

Any input?

I believe TAC sends out a postcard of some type letting you know that you need to place an order by a certain date in order to avoid going inactive, but don't quote me!

lgulotta 06-26-2009 04:41 AM

Yes, you do get a postcard with an "order by" date. Got one myself recently and snuck in a quick order so I'd be sure to get the new catty, probably last one before I'm done as an Angel, unfortunately...

scrappingmelissa 06-26-2009 04:54 AM

our websites are supposed to be updated tonight? It think:confused:

allamericanstampers 06-26-2009 06:05 AM

Actually under the angels only is says that as of tonight, 5 pm the ecommerce will be shut down until Tuesday, 5 pm.

Glitterdovefairy - you can always call the home office to double check. They are really such nice ladies there!

Hi Kay - welcome back!!

Michelleh38 06-26-2009 06:26 AM

Can someone tell me how their paper is? What its quality is like and its weight?

iluv2color 06-26-2009 08:09 AM

OOOh I like that! My demo is sending me a catty and I can't wait to see it! If anyone finds any more sneaks, please post a link here as I'm subscribing to this thread. Love the excitement of a new catty!

iluv2color 06-26-2009 08:17 AM

I am not a demo but I think their paper is a nice weight. They have 2 weights for their patterned paper, a cardstock weight and a lighter weight. The cardstock weight pp reminds me of basic gray's weight. The lighter weight is like ctmh's pp if you are familiar with that. Sorry, i don't know the official weights, hopefully someone will know and post here.

I just "LOVE" the Sneak Peak stuff. Those darling little penguins are so stinken cute!

Thanks Karen for posting this.

I made a card using the New "Robot" stamp set that's in the New catalog.

I attached it to this post. I also have one in my Gallery here on SCS. If you care to see it bigger.

Our Designer Paper is a good weight. It's very much like Basic Grey paper. ( I'm pretty sure they make our paper)

Our Cardstock is Bazzill Cardstock & Die Cut with a View White Core.
Bazzill CS is good weight. I'm not sure what they DCWV is cause I don't buy it.

Our other Designer paper is thin, light weight..But it's good for layering on your cards.

I thought I heard somewhere that we will be carrying double sided Cardstock this catalog season.

Michelleh38 06-26-2009 08:32 AM

Is there a way to see their new catalog?

I LOVE thier heavyweight white cardstock. It is very sturdy and a nice bright white. It's the only one I've tried (besides whichever patterned papers my demo has used in her FUNshops) from the TAC catalog so i can't say how it compares to the non-heavyweight white cs or the colored cs.

iluv2color 06-26-2009 09:10 AM

It goes live July 1st on their websites and demos will be getting their hard copies either at the seminar which is going on now or in the mail. So the best thing is to hook up with a demo and get her to send you one. Course, it's pretty safe to say that the demos, are getting lots of sneak peaks on their demo only websites,lol... The rest of us...are at their mercy...

jeanstamping2 06-26-2009 09:46 AM

No more DCWV Cardstock!!!

I just found out that we do have some Double Sided Designer Paper. Something we all have been asking for!!

I sure hope we are getting Rolls of Ribbon. I really want some of this.

I've also heard that the PWP (purchase with purchase) stamps are very cool too.

jeanstamping2 06-26-2009 09:53 AM

Yes that's right the TAC catalog will out July 1st 2009.

Most of the Demo's are a Seminar And will be getting their catalog there or having them mailed to their homes.

I know that there will be 128 pages in the New catalog. And I also know that they will be carrying. Bazzill Cardstock, Double sided Designer Paper.

And Palette inks, Versa Magic Chalk inks, And some really cute New stamp set.

Here this is a link to Michelle's Blog: http://theangelcompany.typepad.com/t...ojects_for_de/

More about the paper! I never was one to "waste" money on paper but last year (after 5 years of being a demo!) I finally broke down and bought paper. LOVE IT!

The Basic Cardstocks are similiar in weight to SU - they are 80#. I love the kraft and our Scarlet is a gorgeous, deep color. I keep buying both regularly! The White Ultrasmooth is nice too.

The Soar with it Collections (12x12) and Fly with it Collections (9x9) are both heavy cardstock and come with one sheet of tags. We have color matches for them of both Bazzill and DCWV - and for the palette inks/Versamagic inks. They came out with that this year and it sure made it a lot easier.

The Wing it Collections (8x8) is the most economical paper and is just that - paper. But it's great for layering and comes with 3 sheets of each pattern. That too has paper and ink matches!

Can't wait to see the new catty! They go out priority mail to us demos but somehow they come throughout the weekend and sometimes not until Monday - which is normally my luck!! I'm so glad we went back to one catty per year and then two big supplements. And don't forget that today at 5 pm CST is the last time you can purchase the retiring stamps!
