Kimberly - you're only allowed this kind of trick on April Fool's Day, not all month. So, I'm hoping this is true - and thinking, if it's a new family, then it will grow to a dozen like the other families.

Yikes - I'm still working on the new colors from this catty! At least I have the spots. Wonder if they'll do that for the new colors? Hmmm.....

[quote=krabearkub]OH Man! now i have to buy the new color wheel they will come out with. What do you do with three color wheels!?

Oh darn, I just bought the new color wheel!!!!! I'm not happy about that. But new colors.... that I like. I wonder how they will fit into the color groups? Being that there are more than 4 colors, the groups will be uneven. Unless there are still more colors to come at a future date! Anyway, I see tons of my money going to SU.

I highly doubt they will change the color wheel. I also don't think they will add to the markers, chalks, ww crayons. They stated that these colors are just in addition to the old colors to complement them. HTH!
They also said that they don't fit in the color families, just in addition to.

yup that's what SU said! As for not having markers - a blender pen and aqua painter will work (not as great as a marker but still work!)

That's just so wrong not to have markers. How can you color directly on the stamp and have it match the cs? Cranberry and bravo probably won't look right together.

Let Us Not complain about markers and such, as this is only the beginning of the info connection we have through MamaK. She may not tell us anymore if we complain too much...I would highly doubt there would not be things to coordinate with the new colors....That would be a huge marketing error....And, if SU has any sense they would be listening!!!

Are these regular, full-size pads we're talking about, or little do-hickeys like the spectrum pads or the chalk inks????? I can't believe they'd throw in a few on the side like that when we've been known for years and years for our color families.... can't say as I don't have my SS yet, but seems hard to swallow! Call me a pessimist!

Here is a description posted in another forum.

I think the Buckaroo Blue is a combo of Bordering Blue and Brocade Blue.....
True Thyme - go open your spice jar of Thyme it's the same
Cool Carribean - Super light shade of Turquoise - pastel shade like
Vintage Violet - Dark blu'ish purple
Cranberry Crisp - dark blue red'ish cranberry! (can you picture that one!!)
Marigold Morning - Seems darker than Summer sun on the yellow gold spectrum

Hope that helps in picturing what the new colors look like!

This lady was kind enough to share!

As far as we know, demos won't be able to pre order them either... although I must admit I am wondering why they would let this news out 2 1/2 months early when they have been so tight lipped about the new catalog. Perhaps there's a promotion to come? I can hope...

The May SS does not seem to be on the demo website yet either .... How did someone find out about this again?

More colors are always good so I will remain a optimistic pessimist on this one.

That surprises me. Usually things like that they let demos order so they can show them to customers and get them excited for what's to come. Maybe they just haven't made that announcement yet. You can always hope!

woo hoo by then I will have the rest of my colors. so yes new colors is good with me.

I was just checking out the colors that ctmh sells and was thinking about getting some of thier colors that we don't have but I think I might just have to wait.now.they also have some very cool new paper line have you seen it yet.Although they still have a few colors I may need to get like the taffy, goldrush, barn red, golden amber, bamboo, colonial white,I don't know.hhmmmm.I guess we'll just have to wait to see, once the new catalog comes should be this week, waiting very impatiently.

by th eway what color family are those in for the new SU COLORS.
