New Papertrey TONIGHT!!! (Faux Ribbon)

I haven't seen a thread specifically dedicated to this awesome new set, but if there is one, forgive me and just ignore me. I have yet to purchase a Papertrey set because I have yet to justify getting something similar to what I already own, but this one is going to push me over the edge. Just from what Nichole has revealed on her blog, I am pretty much convinced that my credit card will again be used to buy some new stamps. Anyone else going to be *patiently* waiting tonight for the full reveal?

Something to look forward to in addition to the new DD Gallery!

willosmama 04-14-2007 01:03 PM

Yep!!
Like a month ago, and 15 days ago also!!!
I now own all 3 current sets, and I am loving what I have seen of this set!!

I think Nichole is a genius, in fact that was the title of my blog post today. I have the first three sets and I cannot tell you how much I love them. I got to play with my Green Thumb set today for the first time and it makes cards almost by itself, lol.

Definitely a genius!!- *wants to be her when she grows up*

I love-LOVE-love how clean and stream-lined her stuff is!

kansmom 04-14-2007 01:31 PM

I will miss the unvailing at midnight because hubby & I will be working the after prom party till 3 am. yawn! lol

CardFanatic 04-14-2007 01:43 PM

I went to her blog. And while they look very cute, they are way too much work for me. I'd rather use real ribbon. But that's just me.... the ribbon addict. ;)

lisahenke 04-14-2007 02:33 PM

OOO, I'll have to think about this one. I am waiting for my butterfly kisses and Paper trey set to arrive. I love the idea of making Faux ribbon, but it really might be too much work, I agree with Jen.

I agree ... this set pushed me over the edge too, and I already blew my budget on Ellen's fun promotion yesterday with new Lockhart stamps and supplies. Drats, finding this SCS board has done some damage to my spending habits!

I can't wait til midnight! ;)

ssummerer 04-14-2007 02:47 PM

This faux ribbon set will be my first paper trey set. I've liked them all so far, but none has really grabbed me to push the submit button. This one is the winner though! Even if you don't want to make faux ribbon, these little stamps are going to make cute borders on all your cards. I can't wait to get them!

Risa 04-14-2007 02:54 PM

OH MY GOLLY! I might be shopping! NOT GOOD. I am B-R-O-K-E, broke. I love every stamp from PaperTrey so far.

kansmom 04-14-2007 05:05 PM

I just thought of something . . . they announce the 2 winners at midnight too!!! I ummmmmmm entered something . . . I won't know till sometime tomorrow who won! I am thinking I better check after 3 am. snort!

Cindygrammy2 04-14-2007 05:51 PM

I bought the Butterfly Kisses, and have been waiting for this new one to come out so I can see if I want to buy it. I better hop over there and see what all the excitement is about.

It's the 20 perfectly proportioned sentiments that are catching my eye this time more than the ribbons. I can't wait to see what they all are!

dorism6220 04-14-2007 06:05 PM

I found the new set examples really intriguing - can't wait until midnight - hope I can stay up!

willosmama 04-14-2007 06:09 PM

Last time they were up a bit earlier than midnight weren't they? Or was it earlier here because I am on the west coast?

It's 'revealed' at midnight EST, so yep, on the west coast you get it nice and early. Just a little bit longer!

lisamh 04-14-2007 06:23 PM

The twenty sentiments have me buzzing, too. I don't own a good sentiment stamp set. And, the scallop line. And, I just all around think it is going to be real versatile. I have Butterfly Kisses and Green Thumb and I'm amazed at all the versatility. They have been so much fun to work with. All the combinations of things that can be created. And, can I just say the fact that the sets come with their own storage is awesome. Staying up. Hour and a half to go. Tee Hee!

amysings 04-14-2007 06:27 PM

I ordered Green Thumb and Paper Tray this week. I'm sure I'll end up with this new one, but I'm waiting to see the *whole* set!

So, midnight EST is 10 pm mountain, right? :-) I can definitely stay up that late!

Shanon 04-14-2007 06:32 PM

1 HOUR AND 28 MINUTES LEFT!!! :D

Shanon 04-14-2007 06:40 PM

Are they revealing sentiments AND the ribbon stamps????
Do tell please.

lisamh 04-14-2007 06:42 PM

I think the sentiments and the ribbon building elements are one in the same. Part of the same set. :)

amysings 04-14-2007 06:44 PM

Yup, all one set. I wanna know how much it costs, and I wanna know what the sentiments are. :-) I've been wanting a clear "ribbon" set for a long time, but haven't made the leap. I'm hoping this is the set for me!

Shanon 04-14-2007 06:45 PM

*is giddy* Thanks girl!

Ally 04-15-2007 01:42 AM

Guess who got up at 5am to order hers? There are times when being 5 hours ahead of the East coast is great, this was not one of them!

wendykins 04-15-2007 02:20 AM

Okay---this one pushed me over the edge and I finally checked out my cart. It has been filling up the past two weeks and I couldn't stop myself. The ribbon looks awesome especially when you don't have just the right color ribbon or enough. Although after joining one of Jody Lynn's shares, you would think i would be set forever, LOL. Love what Nicole has done and also my cute little avatar is my DS---TREY---so it must be karma

Vikktorea 04-15-2007 03:45 AM

I just bought my set too ;) . This will be my second Papertrey set (I got Green Thumb two weeks ago and love it). I especially love the sentiments in this set. Come on UPS guy!!! :D

Lynn in St. Louis 04-15-2007 04:38 AM

First thing I did this morning (even before getting COFFEE!) was to place my order. I've been looking forward to getting this set all week!!!

lisamh 04-15-2007 04:39 AM

I got it and some of the palette hybrids too. I really needed all the sentiments. I must be stopped. LOL!

AmberDawn 04-15-2007 05:14 AM

I almost ordered this set (its so cute) but 11.50 for shipping? Why is it so much? I can get another stamp set for that, lol...

If you buy anything else with it, you'd get free shipping. It's free after spending $25.

genie1314 04-15-2007 05:35 AM

i bought mine the second the site put it up....did you????

Kathyc 04-15-2007 05:46 AM

Yes Jen, that's pretty much what I did! I was kind of resigned to not buying this one (I have the other 3 and love them) cause I thought it might be too much work too but as soon as I saw all those great sentiments, I hit BUY NOW!!!! I got one of the ink pads too so no shipping; Guess I'll have to buy some oval punches now since they seem to fit the greetings perfectly......will it ever end???? :D

Treehouse Stamps 04-15-2007 05:51 AM

I bought my stamp set the moment it showed up!! LOL!!! :-) I was sitting here for 5 minutes hitting refresh until it showed up! OH my... that is a little nuts. Oh well! I love it and can't wait to create ribbons with it!! Woohoo!! I also got the black noir stamp bad nichole was talking about on her blog! Hugs to all!! Ash~

I would check again. I ordered over $25 so my shipping was free. But, these are unmounted stamps so no way would a set hardly weighing anything ship for this much money!! Something has to be wrong.

Are you sure you chose the correct option? It only costs me $10.50 to have them shipped to the UK

I just looked at their website and it says "all other orders $4.95 flat shipping rate" ... so you should look again ... $11.50 is definitely not right.

lorettal 04-15-2007 06:35 AM

I'm with Jen - pull out some ribbon and cut. That might be a bit fiddly, but the sentiments are fab!
