Never part with would have to be my snowman wheel. I love that one. The one I couldn't live without this year but had to was my swirling stars but I think that was Holiday mini so you have to wait until July to get it. Assuming it makes the big catalog which I think it will. Another past fave is Blizzard. Anything with snow or snowflakes appeals to me.
My favorite retired wheel is the old candy wheel, it is so easy and kids love it! Looks great with red/green cartridge, or just the red one.
My favorite current wheel would be the snowflake one, like Kymbers, I love it and use it heavily, with white craft ink on ballet blue or night of navy paper. Second favorite is the gingerbread wheel, close to cocoa on US cream, kraft or caramel, with the hearts colored in with real red or baroque burgandy.
I did buy both the swirling stars and poinsetta jumbo wheels (my first jumbo ones!) at the end of Novemeber, but I haven't been able to use them much, yet. I think I will LOVE them!
I love Hot to Dot! If you use 2 different colors you can make paper that works great as background like pretty paper!

I love Gifts Galore...it's listed with Holiday Wishes, but it can be used for any "gifting" holiday (birthday, anniversary, wedding, showers, even Christmas)
I LOVE wheels! I do love my Jumbo Swirling Star Wheel. It is so versitle. As for picking a favorite Christmas wheel......that is a hard one.....The Candy cane Craze wheel is fun and so is Only ornaments. I really like these wheels because you can roll at a slant on your paper. If you "accidently" overlap the image it does not matter because they are so hap-hazzard looking anyways.
My kids always grab the Spooky Spiders wheel. (it does not matter what season it is they want spiders on EVERYTHING!!!!)
As for my favorite retired wheel I gotta agree that the candy wheel is super fun to roll. I also really like the dancing mouse! I was so sad when they took it out of the catalog!
As far as the main catalog goes I like Whirly Twirly for versatility. However, I used the jumbos from the holiday mini...stars, holly and poinsettia, CONSTANTLY this season, on just about everything from wrapping paper to cards to gift bags...
I don't know exactly what it's called because I'm at work but I love the one with Santa doing cartwheels. It's retired but it is so cute! I put it on all the envelopes for my Christmas cards this year.
I personally have never been a wheel person but this year I broke down and got all three of the jumbo wheels out of the holiday mini and the Happiest of Holidays set.....and not to brag but my presents have NEVER looked prettier!!!!! I Used rolls of newsprint that I got from our locla newspaper and wheeled them and made matching tags and boy have we gotten LOTS of compliments on our packages!!!!
I'm nursing my baby w/ laptop in tow, so I can't look up wheel names, but my favorite current wheel is the swirly one that goes w/ I Like Your Style set. I adore the 3 jumbo winter mini ones. I used them so much this holiday. But my favorite retired one was/is the jumping tumbling mice. I just smile everytime I use it!!!
Gifts galore works for everything, so it's great. I love the time for trees because we count trees on cars every year, so it's a family thing. And I love the funky firs one because you can sub in bright colors for wild trees (just used pink passion for some truly exciting packaging).
I gotta get out of this rut - but I use the Swirls wheel for just about everything. With ballet blue or bliss blue it's kind of snow-y (but will still work great with flower cards when it's green galore or pink passion or....well, anything, really!
