Default Need Ideas For Spongebob Squarepants Invitation

I'm fairly new (okay REALLY new) to stamping but I would like to attempt something in the Spongebob Squarepants theme for my son's birthday.
Does anyone have some suggestions?

Many thanks!!

Sheryl- You could try using the Rectangle from Little Shapes for the body, and then draw the face afterwards, along with the legs. The star fish from Fishy Friends is cute to use, but he's NOT Patrick! LOL I almost hate to tell you this and give you false hope, but I actually have a set of Sponge Bob, Squidward and Patrick, they're foam mounted. You know in the children's book section at many stores, they have color books and activity books. Well, I was looking at the Activity books with Dora and Sponge Bob, because one of them had some paints right there on the cover. I lifted it up, and what did I see? A Sponge Bob book with the three stamps and a small (Stampin Spot size) pad. It was on clearance at Target, and it was the only one there. I tried to find another one because I know how rare they must have been. This was in October or November at Target. You may be able to locate another one, but I haven't seen them since. If you'd like to email me or PM me, I can try to locate the activity book and tell you what company put it out. You can reach me at [email protected]. I hope you have GREAT success with the party! Debbi

I have also seen the same Sponge Bob book with stamps just last week at my local Michaels. Good luck.

Default Thanks So Much Ladies!

I'll check out Michael's tomorrow. Maybe I'll grab my hubby to go too as an extra Mother's Day gift! lol
I'm in Ontario (Canada) so we don't have a Target here, but I think Winners is like that store. I'll check there too.
Thanks for your great advice!!

Did you find any Sponge Bob stamps? I thought about you yesterday when I passed our JoAnne Etc. store.

Default No Spongebob Stamps!

But I ended up making some on my own - invitations that is, not stamps.
I just used an eggplant coloured cardstock and on the front I cut out a rectangle from yellow paper.
I then wrote on the information in black pen. I also added a red tie to the bottom.
My son was very happy with it, so that's all that matters!
Thanks so much for your help!
We don't have a Joanne's here either in Ontario.
