New Demo Question

I got my id and password today!!! When I talked to a lovely lady from SU she let me know that I have until Dec. 31st for my order to be 30% off. My question...do any of my orders that I place now until Dec 31st go towards my next quarter minimum? I know there is no way I could pass 30% off but it would be nice if they went towards that minimum!

Thanks!

Your order with the 30% will count toward your minimums. And you have until the end of the first full quarter after you join to make your minimum. (If you just signed up, that means you have until the end of March.) Congratulations on becoming a demo! You picked a great time of year to join, with Sell-A-Bration right around the corner!

I'm a new demo too, can someone explain to me the big hype about stampers sell-a-bration? I don't get how it works.

Well with SAB your customers and you of course can one of the 6 SAB sets FREE with every $50 purchased. We as demo's Dec. 1st can order them on a supply order (don't count toward our minimums) for what in the past has been $9.95 each. Then with your sales in Jan and Feb if they get high enough you can earn FREE stamps too. If you go on the SU website and go to communications, and then go to STampin Success you can read about it in the new Dec. issue.

Carrie...welcome to the SU sisterhood! Best of luck to you as you begin your new business venture!

Welcome! I'm a newbie too! But this is how I understand it and my upline and SU explained it.

You have between now and Dec 31 receive 30% off on one order. So gather up some girlfriends, get a big WISH list and order as much as you can at once. Only ONE order between now and then gets 30% off. Any other only gets 20% off. HAVE FUN!

I am a new demo and I just placed my 30% order the other day from my wishlist! If I'm reading your message correctly I'm assuming this order will go towards my minimum next quarter? I thought I needed to place my $300 between Jan-March to qualify. Do my orders from Nov and Dec count towards the next quarter or do they disappear and I need to start over in Jan-March. This gets so confusing.

In Canada, customers need to spend $75 to receive a SAB set. Hostesses who host a party with $450 in sales also receive a SAB set of their choice. And, as a demo, you can preorder SAB sets for $13.95. Thought I'd let you konw that, Shelley, seeing you are in BC.

I agree, it is very confusing. I just double checked this with my upline, to make sure that I understand things correctly, and this is what she said:

If you joined during the current quarter you have until the end of the next full quarter to meet the $300 minimum. So any sales you have between when you joined and the end of next quarter (March) will go toward that minimum. SU! does this so that everyone has at least one full quarter to make their first minimum. (So if you join at the end of one quarter, for example, you won't have to do the whole $300 in sales in one month. And if you joined at the beginning of a quarter, well, lucky you! You still have until the end of the next full quarter and all of the sales you have will count!)

The only reason I know this is because of my own confused experience. When I joined in April (the beginning of that quarter), I met the minimum before the end of the quarter. But then when I went into the SU demo site during the next full quarter, it said I still needed to do another $300. I panicked and called demo support, and they said that the sales I already had would count toward the current minimum, along with any additional sales, but the computer system just didn't recognize it on the demo site. (They may have fixed that now.) At the end of that quarter, all of my sales showed up correctly on my online statement. (Does that make any sense? I just don't want you to panic in January if it does the same thing to you.)

I hope this helps!
