New In Colors Are EVERYWHERE! Where have you seen them?
This is almost spooky.... I mean, I know the In Colors are based on trends in home decor, fashion, etc. But everytime I turn around ~ I spot them somewhere:
Oprah's magazine, July, page 106: A "track your health" binder in Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss.
Microsoft Workds word processor: Open the program and there under the title is a bar of different colors ~ Tango Tangerine, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Kiwi Kiss.
As I was making a birthday card for my 7-year-old's friend using P. Point, T. Tangerine, and Kiwi K., my husband picked up birthday gift bags and tissue paper... You guessed it ~ it's all In Colors!!
I know what you mean! I was flipping through the TV the other day, and I saw the in colors, so I stopped. They were sheet sets being sold on QVC in the same colors!
I got a catalog today, Garnet Hill (why? i never have even ordered from it!), and there is a stack of fleece blankets with Baja Breeze (Water), Kiwi Kiss (Kiwi!) and Tango Tang. (cinnamon? no!). And the facing page features linen in the same colors on cream with cocoa brown. Colors like our In Colors are together all over the place in this catalog - lots of rugs.
I guess I must be the only one with In Colors on the brain!
There is a National organization that meets annually. The purpose is to select the "in' colors for the next year. Fabricx, furniture, cars you name it and the selected colors are used. So it isn't any surprise that you are seeing the "in" colors everywhere-- that's is how SU makes their color selections.
yeah, I get it ... Pantone colors ... we can probably guess way ahead what the In Colors will be year to year. sorry I thought it was fun to spot them and the odd places like the word processor. I guess it's just same ol' same ol' to everybody else.
I saw some today, Nancy! Red Envelope has a couple of pairs of gardening gloves near the beginning of the catty that just showed up in my mailbox. Kiwi Kiss and Red Riding Hood! (slightly different names, of course, but pretty right on the money if you ask me!)
You made me smile, Kelly ~ thanks! I was just thinking yesterday... I sure didn't see the last set of In Colors all over the place. Odd. And I really loved them ~ couldn't imagine them being gone.... but now, I love these!
