I'm thinking Aida Cloth may be a sleeper hit. I'm seeing some quite a few examples of it through the catalog and I think it adds a really nice texture different than Canvas & Linen. I think it will take people a while to warm up to it and see examples. That being said, though, its still not going in my first order.

i love the aida cloth bg and will be ordering it on my first order, I think that it will be a big hit once folks start using it in some good examples.

Okay, here are some samples I spotted using the Aida cloth ... pg 72 (top), 94 (top), 116 (bottom), 137 (top), 161 (top). Its kind of boring all by itself ... but so is a potato, until you put some gravy on top of it!

Nope - Ephemra was in the old catalog.

See, now I don't understand what the big deal is about the dotted BG. But I reserve the right to change my mind at a later date/time! I think the Word Search and Paisley are on my first order and Well-Worn Words and Aida Cloth are on my second order. I also like Aida Cloth b/c it sort of has a basket-weave look to it and I have lots of basket themed stamps (I sell Longaberger - so I collect basket stuff to make for customers).

I like the On the spot, but I might just save my money and get the seeing spots set on pg. 159 to make my own BG.

I love On the Spot (I was kicking myself for not getting it from the holiday mini last year, plus love the Seeping Spots set that it matches), Dotted (seem to have a thing for circles this year), Well-Worn Words and Flannel Plaid. I was surprised more people hadn't said Word Search. I don't have it yet, but I thought it would be a really cool idea for kids cards.

Oh forgot, I like Aida Cloth too. But then there pretty much isn't anything I don't like. SU and SCS seems to make me want everything. My DH just shakes his head at me and laughs.
