Stamping on walls

I'm getting ready to stamp my daughter's walls with the bold butterfly stamp. Any suggestions on how to go about this? What type of paint/ink?

I would use acrylic paints and a foam brush to apply the paint to the stamp (lightly). Make sure you wash the stamps off before the paint dries.

And don't forget pictures!

I would think you would want to use interior house paint if you're doing the walls (that way it is still cleanable like the rest of the surface). Maybe try to use a brayer or paint roller to lay a thin coat on a flat surface (like a piece of sheet metal) so you're not getting too much paint on the stamp (think of it like a giant ink pad). I helped a friend stamp a border around her dining room using acrylic paints and sponge brush. Turned out beautiful. We stamped the walls at least 5 years ago and it still looks good.
Another tip is to practice on poster board first.
