Default Need resource to buy tins to hold cards

I am looking to buy tins (the lunch box tin thread got me thinking) that will fit cards. They should be able to fit probably 10 cards and lay flat (if that makes sense) and I would decorate the front.
I think JoAnn's has them but they are $4 each, I believe.

Anyone have a good, inexpensive place they buy from?
thanks
Kari

Do a search for watchmaker's tins. These are the little round tins with the see-through lids. They are usually placed inside a larger rectangular tin with a see-through lid. Those are flat & should easily hold 10 cards.

Try Oriental Trading...they had the lunch tins some time ago...not sure the cost, but I would think they should be pretty reasonable.

Thanks. I tried that and found the round tins that are stored in the square container with the see through lid.
How do I search for just those square containers? I don't know what they are called.
I think I need at least 10 so was hoping to buy in bulk if possible and not have to buy the circle tins to get the square tin (does that make any sense? )

Also try Effectuality Inc. www.effectuality.com

They have DVD tins that you can pop the plastic DVD holder out of. They are not see-thru, and I don't know how many cards they would hold. But they are blank silver cases that would be great for altering.

Found another source for plain, alterable tins in all different shapes & sizes.
