Need ornament help - please....

I want to make glass ornaments. Do I stamp with staz-on on acetate, and color with sharpies? Do I color both sides? I was going to cut into a circle and then do I roll it to get inside? What about the flake-like snow - can you get that at Michaels or Joanns??

Thanks for your help.

I used my CM cutters to cut the acetate, then I stamped on the acetate with the stazon, Then I allowed it to dry and colored it with sharpie markers on one side, then I rolled it up and put it into the ornament. I couldn't find the fake snow so I used glitter instead.

I have some instructions posted in my gallery, on a few ornaments I did last year. Here is a link. E-mail me if you have any other questions :)

I also heard that you can use instant potato flakes for snow. Haven't tried it yet myself, but...don't think they would 'stick' like glitter does because of the static. If I try it I'll let you know how it works. HTH

I'm pretty sure that in my house the weevils would get in there and make a terrible mess of the whole thing!!!

I recently found the fake iridescent snow at Michaels where the Christams village display is. I also found some at Big Lots in the same area. At both places it was around $2.
