Hello Ladies,
I am hoping you ladies can help me come up with something.
I am participating the Susan G. Komen Race for the cure. I would like to make some kind of thank you to give to all the people that sponsor and donate.
Something simple and easy that I can mass produce. Just to show my appreciation for their donation.
First, good for you for helping a wonderful cause!!
Do you have access to either of the breast cancer stamp sets that SU! has put out in the last few years? I believe the first one (2003?) was Hope and the second one (2004?) was Hope Is... Both of these have ribbon shaped stamps and appropriate verses. I've also seen ribbon punches (you could use pink paper, or course) available both online and in real stores.
With any of these, it would be fairly easy to mass-produce some thank you cards. Or you could just do a 'standard' thank you card and attach a piece of pink ribbon.
The cause is close to my heart...
My grandma was a Breast Cancer survivor and she ultimately passed from other ailments, and my aunt is a survisor too.. so that is why I do it!
Yes I do have HOPE IS.. and was planning on using that.. thanks for the ideas! Maybe 3x3 thank you notes may work?.. waht do you think!
If you're not mailing them, square cards are very nice! But usually they take extra postage to mail cuz the postal service is picky like that.
I think that sounds like a good idea. And I prefer the Hope Is... to the Hope set anyway. Like the ribbon better.
Best of luck! Let me know when you upload your creation to your gallery - I'd love to see it!!

Well most of them will not be mailed as it will be given to all my co workers that are donating.. there may be a few that need to be mailed out.. but as of right now.. I dont think so.
I recently had a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society (specifically for breast cancer research and education). Here is the card I made for everyone who bought a Horizon of Hope basket from me:
It was simple - the hardest part was tearing the mulberry paper and that wasn't too bad when you use a wet Q-tip. I made 24 of them in a relatively short time. I know linograph is discontinued, but any bold background stamp would do.
