Need help with my Christmas cards

I just posted my Christmas card prototype in my blog. I think it needs something. Any suggestions?

First of all--cute cards! Since you want to stay with a relatively simple card, I was thinking you could add some ribbon...tie it horizontally across the card going under your main image and knotting or putting a bow at the blank space above the sentiment. Congrats too on signing up to be a demo...still standing on the edge of the "pool" here....GOOD LUCK! :0)

Cute Card...............

You really did a nice job! Perhaps you can either lift the card in anyway - at anyplace - and slide a green ribbon under it. You could also stamp a tree in the blank area or any stamp that you have of a small (cute) person, and if all else fails, add some snow flakes and even snow on the ground - top off the snow & flakes with just a small dot of glitter! You'll have to post your "new" card if you do choose to add something - Good Luck!

Blessings,
Debbie

Maybe adding another color of layer to it. Cut the white a little bit smaller and add a red to back. Also I think some ribbon would look cute too.

Ribbon

What about a bit of knotted ribbon attached to the side area of the car focal point part of your card- You can punch out where you want the ribbon to be attached.

I've been looking at my ribbon and I don't think I have any that would work together. So, what if I did a green strip of crimped paper across it, behind the main image? I'm also going to do some with a green truck, so then with a red strip.

OH-yes- If you have a crimper- Use it!! -It is one of my most used/fav tools- It adds depth & makes card looks harder than it is!!!KWIM?

I think it'd be cute to add a driver in your truck. Look how cute this turned out when Cecilia used the santa from Little Hellos.

Update: I added a green crimped strip. I also posted the new pic in my blog (due to no upload Sunday). Blog

I like the green strip - the card looks great! (I ordered my kit on Friday  )

I think it looks great. If you want a little extra zip maybe some inking/sponging around your image and around the edges of the card base.
